very nice find.....Always nice to see the zips adding players ....from academies where they have not had a lot of success.   Nice words in his announcements about Coach Nanchoff and Coach Embick.

No. 2 ‒ Londen Sears, New Albany

 

Last year's Division II state Player of the Year and an All-American, Sears amassed 16 goals and 18 assists in leading the Eagles to their first state championship. The senior midfielder, who also can play forward and defense, has committed to Akron. New Albany was Division I state runner-up in both 2020 and 2022.

A senior center back and leader of the Celtics’ stout defense, the Akron commit has contributed to eight shutouts and assisted one goal. Jerome is 6-0-2 in its eight shutouts.

 

Londen Sears, New Albany

A senior forward and midfielder who has committed to Akron, Sears has 11 goals and 12 assists for an Eagles team that is ranked first statewide in Division II, second regardless of division and is top-seeded in the district in pursuit of its second consecutive state championship.

I believe New Albany is ranked in the top 20 nationally by USCA.  Cleveland St Ignatius is top 5.
