Hey, I know you are discouraged with your team but you can’t give up before you play your first MAC game. Besides seeing one of the greatest QB match ups anywhere this season, you owe it to Charlie Frye to make the shortest drive to an away game you will ever make. When Charlie decided to return after last season, I am sure that one of the games he was looking forward to was this one. He deserves to have a decent Akron cheering section. In addition, Dix is a nice stadium; it has plenty of seats and parking. The beer is cheap and the game is on Thursday night. What else are you going to do that night anyway, watch TV? Finally, we give each other a lot of crap, but that is what a rivalry is for. When I attended Can't State in the mid 70’s we didn’t play you guys. Students attending during my era didn’t even know we had a traditional rivalry with Akron. Being gone from NE Ohio for over 20 years now I didn’t realize how big this game has become until last year. If the Akron faithful do not show up to defend your honor, It will just confirm what many Can't State fans already suspect. Remember, the season is not over yet; It is still possible to turn it around. On Friday morning one of those teams will be 1-0 in MAC and the possibilities will be endless. Quote

Unless you're in a wheel chair or on crutches, I can't believe the parking situation will be a big deal. Quote
