timmyboy Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 I seen on the board a few different times that SO. LB Al-Teric Balaam (6-1 235) was ruled ineligible. But on the updated roster ( updated today) he is still listed...... did he take a summer class to get things in order, or is he going to be able to play?and what happened to ryan brinson, i seen on the board that he transfered from WV to Akron, but he is not on the roster.* I was just looking over the transfer from WV who has to sit out this year (jeremy bruce) and it sounds like he is a WR who can help right away after sitting out his year. Here is what was said about him when he signed with WV out of HS......"The West Virginia football team landed an explosive, fast athlete Saturday when it received a commitment from Jeremy Bruce. The native of Blackhawk, Pa., exploded onto the recruiting scene with his performance at the State College, Pa., NIKE Camp".Source: Rivals.com * Walk on QB Kade Wagner from Green HS was moved from 4th string QB to the WR position. Not sure what happened.EDIT:Sorry for the bad grammer but my eyes have gone bad playing hours of Godzilla Saves the World with my son. Quote

Balaam is not eligible this fall. At least that's what I was told last week. Unlike some of the other "casualties" he is going to stay in school and expects to be cleared to play in the spring.Brinson signed up for classes in the spring, but aparently lost interest. Barring some act of God, he's not going to be a Zip. Quote
ZippyAlum Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 I hear we lost a DL today. Broken foot or something. Quote
Zipgrad01 Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Well, there goes ANOTHER one of those highly touted 3 star players we all get excited to see. I am so sick and tired of this. How can almost EVERY one of our already limited amount of highly touted players be a major f up and never play? It just boggles the mind. Quote

Any more, I just kinda wait to see who's on the field in August/September and who's not. Quote
