Patriot Bowl II

I had read that Can't already had this as a home game and gave it up when BC offered to pay to move the game. If they really wanted to try and get a W, they would have kept it at Can't.
I thought the "Patriot" Bowl was supposed to be MAC schools against one of the service academies. Hence we played Army last year.EDITED -- Nevermind, I just saw the note in the article. It's still stupid.

The New England Patriots are in Massachusetts, as is Boston College. So I'll still call it the Patriot Bowl.

BC will really be down, especially at the beginning of season, since they lost almost every 'contributer' to their team. I hate to say it but Can't may have a chance in this one. I do feel that the depth of the BC depth chart will begin to show after halftime witth BC getting the victory in the end. I look for the scoing summaries and box score to be a lot like the Akron vs. OSU game this year.

I happen to agree that Can't will probably make this an interesting game. Jarvis and Edelman are not the easiest guys to prepare for and I can see BC coming into the game thinking it'll be an easy W. Having said that, :screwks:

Isn't OSU still playing Bowling Green at Browns Stadium this year also?
As far as BG is concerned, how is playing OSU in the browns stadium different than playing OSU in the shoe? Do they really expect people in cleveland to cheer for them? In my opinion, they are dumbly doing OSU a huge favor.
