He could possibly even enroll this fall and be able to play this year. He could really, really boost our secondary. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted July 19, 2008 Author Report Posted July 19, 2008 I take it there was no early word on whether or not he's in the fold? Quote

He also picked up an offer from Kansas State. Here's hoping that he had a good first impression today. I would love to see him wearing the Blue and Gold this fall. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 His flight arrived last evening and he's checking out UA today. If anything major develops, I'll do my best to let everyone know. Quote

ZachTheZip Posted July 29, 2008 Author Report Posted July 29, 2008 He needs to make a decision very soon to make it to camp on time, plus to give time for all the paperwork to get done. It needs to happen now, no matter where he chooses to go. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted July 30, 2008 Author Report Posted July 30, 2008 http://ncaabbs.com/showthread.php?tid=307294Memphis really wants this guy. It would be a real blow to their egos if he chooses us over them. Quote

It would be a real blow to their egos if he chooses us over them.USC wants him too. But only if he enters school this spring. He wants to play now, hence the Zips or Tigers will get his services. Maybe Kansas State makes a late run too. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 Apparently, now he's visiting West Virginia this weekend and Memphis after that.Hopefully Akron being first helps. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 Hopefully Akron being first helps.Every passing day w/o any word downgrades the Zips chances. Quote
Quickzips Posted August 3, 2008 Report Posted August 3, 2008 Hopefully Akron being first helps.Every passing day w/o any word downgrades the Zips chances.Agreed. I hope I'm wrong, but I think this kid will end up elsewhere. We really needed him to commit while he was here IMO. Once he left town our chances of landing him just naturally decreased. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted August 4, 2008 Author Report Posted August 4, 2008 WV guys are saying that if he chooses them, he'll be asked to redshirt. Quote
