From what you've seen? How about let's trust what the coaches have seen. They seem to know what they're doing. If Hirschmann was better, he wouldn't be behind a Freshman on the depth chart.

Zips are currently #21 in the country in scoring defense, giving up an average of just 20.8 points per game. That includes games against Penn State, Marshall and Pitt. It's not unreasonable to expect that the D should be able to maintain that average against MAC teams. If they do, that takes a lot of pressure off of the offense to need to run up a lot of points in order for the Zips to win. I'd like to see the Zips continue to put more emphasis on the running game and hog more time of possession to give opponents even fewer opportunities to score. Zips averaged 4.1 yards per rush against Miami, and our upcoming MAC opponents have no better record defending against the rush than the sweaters.

Penn State was the last team in the country without a loss that changed today as they went to Maryland Maryland is finally healthy...they beat Penn State 4-0 Maryland has a very good Japanese player...Enzo...and he has missed a lot of games... He played today and made a difference... Ohio State lost 2-1 today to Indiana coming into today's matches...Penn State was 4-0 in the Big ten...and Michigan was 2nd with a 2-1-2 record we all remember Syracuse scoring with 3 seconds left in an exhibition game to edge the zips Syracuse is now 11-1 and just defeated Wake Forest 3-1 on Friday night...Louis Cross started in the game prior to Wake but did not play in the game against Wake there is no dominant team this year. If the zips can keep improving during the year, they can surprise some teams in the ncaa tournament

I hope we beat the snot out of these guys.
