  1. Script Akron is excellent. What I don't like is the white on white numbers with a very thin blue outline. Can be hard to see especially on crappy video feeds...

  3. Skip and 92, This principle points out that the Zips have a hell of a lot to do to change the culture to one of consistent success. That is why this season is so heart-breaking. We thought we were on our way. In the face of lack of past success change still can occur it is just a harder roe to hoe. Perhaps next year will bring the success we are crave and we build from there. We know we will have a pretty good team. To Skip's point a coach with a track record of success is very desirable if the conditions of his new job are similar. An example of where the conditions are not similar is a DIII coach going to DI or coach Faust going from Moeller to ND. Happy Thanksgiving guys. I wish all the nation the best of holiday. I am grateful for this forum. Thanks to the creators.

  4. +1 The coaches obviously had Tommy's best interest in mind. Current & future players should respect and love that the coaching staff is willing to lose a game rather than put a hobbled player out there and risk further injury. Very unselfish move by Coach Bowden.

  5. Bless Jawon Chisholm. I was blessed to watch him step out of bounds for four years while he won something like six games. We we are blessed to have a coaching staff that holds a player out who wants to play, but showed over the last six weeks that his shoulder ranged between hobbled and unusable. And lastly, bless Marques Hayes and Marcus Whattley, former Zips, who are proud of their alma mater and sending UA some great kids for next season. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

  6. Uriah is Ulysses Gilbert's younger brother according to this article. I hope he chooses Akron. "On defense, perhaps no one in the state has a lineman as imposing as Uriah Gilbert (6-2, 340).Gilbert, the Celtics' noseguard, bench presses 405 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 5.2 seconds. He's already been offered by Baylor and will be a matchup nightmare for opposing centers."

  7. You are right. Doesn't that just make you sick. We should have taken them several times, but the score is all that counts and we didn't. I need a beer!

  8. So if I'm reading this right Woodson feels he was healthy enough to play, but coaches said no. Even with a 70% Woody, I feel we win last night and make it to a bowl game. *Picks back up pitchfork*
