  1. So I'm the Buffalo fan who wrote this article and men's/women's basketball editor for Bull Run. Thanks to everyone who like the article. ^But who hurt you? Lighten up, wasn't trying to be arrogant whatsoever. All it was is an article outlining my trip to the JAR and some trash talk (something everyone does in sports).

  2. I didn't read the article, but one would expect a blogger from Buffalo to be strongly biased toward UB just as we're strongly biased toward UA. No biggie. I'm for anything that stokes the rivalry.

  3. Zips lose at Ohio and Joey Brackets drops them from a 12 seed to a 14? No wonder he's the worst of the bracket predictors.

  4. Former Zip running back Hakeem Lawrence ran a blazing 6.72 in the 60 meter dash at SPIRE in the NCAA DI Invitational, the third fastest time in that event in Zips history. And WR Kwadarius Smith looked pretty damn fast in the same event, finishing 4th at 6.83 seconds. Boy is Hakeem a specimen upper body-wise. Dan Ludwig continues to shine in mens PV and Becky Szabo surprised by winning the women's PV there as well. MAC Championship 2 weeks away....should be a good one, although I'm going to SPIRE again to watch the Big 10 Indoor Championships...closer to home.

  5. I like TDM. Several times this season, when the starting guards are heaving bricks, he's entered and hit a "3" or two to help us weather the drought. He was playing with only one good eye for the better part of two weeks in January and acquitted himself fairly well. I've seen him penetrate the paint and make some nice passes. He's a good ball handler. EMU was probably his worst game of the year, but usually he provides us some good minutes, and an offensive spark. Which is tough to do when you're a Freshman getting only a handful of game minutes per night. I see Robotham throwing away that late-game inbounds pass against Ball State...it would have cost us the game if not for Big Dog's heroics...and I see TDM isn't the only one making pressure-related mistakes. There's plenty of sub 6-foot guards playing excellent basketball. Ohio native Keon Johnson is 5' 7", and just became Winthrop's all time leading scorer. Isaiah Thomas is tearing up the NBA at 5' 9". I'm a TDM fan. I like what he's shown thus far, and I like is potential too.

  6. Nothing more timely than revealing an injury for the first time....3 months after the season's end.
