I posted something in the Summer workouts thread about Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell and the impact of Mount Union's voluntary conditioning program. I thought I would say more, but didn't want to hijack that thread about your Summer conditioning program, so here is a new thread. We have a few Zips basketball alumni participating in The Basketball Tournament, in which all of the games will be broadcasted on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPN3 depending on the round. Similar to last year, we have players on the Canton Bulldogs squad. Those players are the infamous Demetrius Treadwell and Nick Harney. https://www.thetournament.com/teams/canton-bulldogs Additionally, we also have a player on VCU's Alumni team, Ram Nation. That player is Romeo Travis. The play-in Jamboree starts this weekend and then the whole thing kicks off on July 8th.

Anyone know if any of them are playing in the Cleveland Akron Pro Am that starts this weekend? Would love to get an advance look at them although I don't know how much that "open gym" like setting will translate to what Groce will be trying to implement.

Fantastic finishes by our two Zip women. Jackie Siefring finishes 5th in the Heptathalon and Nikki Manson finished 5th in the high jump. Fantastic! Two All Americans on both sides - McClain and Ludwig for the guys and Manson and Siefring for the women. 4 first team All Americans! Good showing for the Zips, and proud of all 6 that made the trip.

This kid's gonna turn out to be the best QB on the roster but we won't want to burn that redshirt.

What's a TE? When you find out please explain the concept to Milwee. Also explain that a team is not penalized for throwing to him. i don't think that's very clear in our OC's mind.
