  1. Akron is off and the MAC eats itself alive. Beautiful.

  2. Pretty nice night off for the Zips as It's not too often when the West sweeps the East. However, when they do I prefer that we don't participate.

  3. By mandating a 4-3-3, they will force all of us to play Nagbe out of position at F. Nagbe supposedly played F with Zips, but it was a withdrawn Forward position.

  4. I like that alignment much better than the 4-3-3....that they are asking us to use.... Your alignment does not make you choose between the 2 def, midfielders....Perry and Wil Akron has had great midfielders ...over the past decade....and you have several of the great ones on your team and to think.....that you sill have outstanding midfielders....like Adam Najem, Anthony Ampaipitakwong, Michael Nanchoff, Victor Souto, Dillon Serna and Aodhan Quinn...available to come of the bench of course, there are a few decent? players to come in off the bench...up top...Jonathan Lewis, Marcel Zajac, David Egbo, Sam Gainford, Stuart Holthusen and the underrated Reinaldo Brenes.

  6. A crazy night in MAC basketball. Zips may gave gotten the bye at the right time. Ohio has two wins over EMU. Akron has pivotal wins over NIU and Ball State and in tonight's scenario could meet Kent in the quarterfinals which would be bad luck for the MAC tournament. Because of the bye weeks and the postponed CMU/Miami game, the teams haven't all played the same amount of games. I look at the losses for the seedings: 1. Central Michigan gets winner of Toledo/Western Michigan 2. Bowling Green gets winner of Buffalo/Miami 3. Akron gets winner of Kent State/Ohio 4. Northern Illinois gets winner of Ball State/Eastern Michigan 5. Ball State 6. Kent State 7. Buffalo 8. Toledo 9. Western Michigan 10. Miami 11. Ohio 12. Eastern Michigan
