He dominated at JUCO and looked substantially better than Nunnally coming out of JUCO - good enough to get a P4 opportunity. Of course that doesn’t mean he’ll any better, or as good as Nunnally, but it’s at least a comparison point. He’s a guy to be excited about and will join a really young DE room with loads of upside. Now we need to address DT. Happy New Year!

What about the other 15 points they subtracted from the deficit in the final 15 minutes? It wasn't a millimeter here-or-there that cost us the game. They hit clutch shots, while we clanged-away from 3. Who is "clutch" on this Zips team, and who short-arms their shots when we need a bucket? Nate and Tavari are the guys I want to have the ball down the stretch. Grey, Hardman, Wilson, etc....not so much.

Is this an addition that we can get excited about? Please let it be. My nether world is sore from all the hits taken to it. Some good news to close the year would be very welcome. Regardless, Happy New Year Zips Nation!

Would be a huge pick-up

I think the record is more reflective of 'how' they have played, not 'who' they have played. Ark St., Princeton, had late leads and should have won them both. Perhaps a few more of those type of games make for a better team, but worse non-con record. Zips can go 13-5 in the MAC and I'm not sure they would be any better in March than they are now. That's how bad the MAC is. Zips could also go .500 in the MAC, based on what we see right now, and wouldn't be totally surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised. Non-con schedule showed they can beat bad teams, play with some good teams ... but not sure about winning against good teams.

The most interesting thing is the suits are only going to grow and for good reason. The Supreme Court has told everyone involved there needs to be a collective bargaining agreement and a meeting hasn't even been set to discuss.
