let's not blame the veterans on this team especially Ivey, because he does everybody job when his shots are not falling he is doing everything else rebounds, steals, assist, and shuts down the other teams best players. To get straight to the point LCJ and Cotton are small guys with egos bigger than their talent (HATE IS A STRONG WORD). Seems to me Ivey is coaching on the floor and also playing, so at the end of the day I am not saying he couldn't have played better but I believe he wants to win its his senior year. What we need to do is recruit more athletic and high basketball IQ players like Ivey in the future.

I don't know where this information coming from Dambrot didn't actually take no talent with him what team were you watching the talent that stayed and the talent we added is probably the best athletic team Akron has seen for a while. There is no shortage of talent on this team , even Eubanks has a prominent roll on this team which I couldn't understand why he didn't last year because last season beside IVEY , and UTOMI EUBANKS was third most athletic on this team period! ZIPS FANS AND THE REST OF THE LEAGUE ARE GOING TO BE SUPRISED ON HOW QUICK THIS TEAM GELS AND RISE BACK TO THE TOP OF THE MAC!!!!!!!

Look guys Groce is putting together a high scoring high flying electric team. so for the people on this thread stuck on the pass, get ready for a great season. get prepared to be MAC CHAMPIONS something kd couldn't do with that shitty style of play. so as for noah he is a great kid but we don't need him with that slow the game down crap. I believe the games this year will be entertaining and don't be surprise once mac season start we sell out the jar!!!!!!!!!

Also ROBOTHAM if he decides to stay, add in Olojakpoke and Eric parish we have a real athletic team throw in Utomi if he returns, fill in a few more spots this looks good to me. I noticed last year we wanted to run, dambrot held the team back to play inside out! this team will be good I think. I could never understand why Eubanks didn't get playing time last year, and its because dambrot was stuck in the way he coaches, We got athletes!!! #LetsGoZips

You know what I'm going to keep it real,you guys seem to be stuck on Noah and Williams. They are not the answer the line up should be Dunn-Martin, Antino, Jimond, Utomi and Big Dogg! If you wanna win put your best players on the floor. and quit making promises to players and showing favoritism. If they playing like crap then sit there ass down point blank. Josh would be a good six man to come in and get points cause he can lite it up when he is on. but he is not a starter, he cant rebound he gets beat on defense. wake up fellas I want to win! .

I agree that IVEY should have got a chance in this game. because he didnt play no worse than aybody last game they all played like crap to me. But he is the most atheletic and could have ran with cant state! I believe that he needs some time on the floor to be able to find his game. Everybody knows we just stand behind the 3 point line. If were going to win this tournament we better get it together! AND QUICK

I am in vegas and the ZIPS was well represented in this arena for the few fans that where there Jimond had friends and family here and also Noah hade friends and family here. My complaint is that the heat in this arena was extremely hot, also they had the Clydesdale horses in a stable here in the arena that may be the reason for the heat. I over heard that several players got sick and dehydrated from the heat inside this place. I think they could have did better with the venue!

No I`m not JIMOND, but I`ve seen this guy play and he can shoot. He shoots the 3 ball just as well as anyone on the team! I guess everyone forgot he is not a 100 percent, believe me once he`s healthy the mid American conference better watch out. Remember I said it, for all the people who say he can`t shoot! It seems like people is going off that game against Charleston southern when he had not played or practiced for about 9 days, and shot some air balls. If you really watched the game he kept shooting them. He finally made one as the shot clock ran out, he looked to have gotten his shot back. The finale thing I`m going to say is once he is healthy JUST WATCH!

I hope IVEY is able to play more minutes getting ready for conference play soon. Hopefully he is 100 percent going into the vegas tournament in a few weeks!

I agree this game was terrible, we better play much better if we expect to win 2o + games this year. And we must get JIMOND much more minutes, we need his athleticism and quickness on the floor ! It seems like the only two players that wiil take the ball to the rim is ANTINO and JIMOND.

Just to let the person know .who commented on the player leaving the court, that player is coming back from injury. He goes out the gym to stretch and comes back to ride the bike to stay loose. He was obviously upset his shot was off a little bit. That's the reason he was put back in so he can get back in game rhythm. And by the way once he`s a 100 percent he can shoot from anywhere on the court and take anybody off the dribble. Keep watching and you`ll see this kid is good! And I didn't see a attitude he was just upset at himself. One more thing did you see the 3 pointer he made as the shot clock expired!

I agree that IVEY should be getting the primary minutes, and that josh should be coming along slowly. It is apparent josh is not ready right now!

I have been following this guy, he can play his wild shots better than most of our control shots. I PAID CLOSE ATTENTION TONIGHT THIS GUY NEEDS MINUTES!

To me Josh is overrated, he may be ready in the future. But to me Jimond Ivey is ready NOW! This lost to this sorry team really hurts......
