Question: does this happen to every other team when they are up by 8 or 9 with a minute left? Opponent gets hot from 3. Or is it just a Zips phenomenon?

I looked at 2019-20 box scores and X Wiilliams came out really hot in his first few games. I can't imagine Hunter is another Maishe (the name we dare not speak) Daily. Can there be more than one? I also think Dawson would light it up in practice as well. He had the green light from 3 as well but it took him awhile.

Good. because it's obvious now that the Hurons have the MAC player of the year and maybe a first team All American. Stan Heath was always the class of the MAC. I can see him making another run to the Elite 8. Huge recruiting fail by Team Groce not grabbing Bates. And Toledo is firing on all cylinders. Those first round play-in games may have come in handy this coming March. I guess we will see.

The proverbial early season take: So after yesterday, looks like EMU, Toledo, and PCCC are the teams to beat. Zips will be lucky to get a top 4 seed in Cleveland. Last night was a bad loss that killed our chances at an at large bid. Doubt anyone will show up for Morgan State game and probably get skunked in Cayman. Not a great day to be a Zip.

I am not an excuses guy, but Groce is playing with the line up. We have Hankerson and Hunter thrown in as starters. Tonight...on a strange court...it isn't gelling. Bring on Morgan State.
