An eerie sense of calm washed over me as I mentally prepared for my trip to the James A Rhodes Arena this evening. But then I read posts about seedings and win streaks and that calm quickly shifted to dread.

Tomorrow night: really surprised that Ohio is a -3 favorite over NIU at the DeKalb Triangle. And Buffalo, -8.5 over EMU. Although, I'm happy to see EMU keep losing so they are sitting home come March.

Maybe it's the server issue, but Toledo certainly doesn't bring the excitement that Kent does. Hopefully, students will keep up the effort and fun tomorrow and the Zips had some good practices.

all the buzz makes me nervous. Staff has to keep their heads focused on task at hand.

I didn't write that well. those seats aren't held by anyone during the season. these guys picked them up at some point for last night. never saw them before but were totally into the game.

Groce would say it comes down to how they practice the next two days. Preparation trumps pressure. There's going to be a let-down game like the 2020 cluster at Bowling Green. i just hope it's at an away game.
