Kato leads team down the field late in game. The offensive lineman have to carry him down the field after first downs. Our MVP Gasser kicks a game winning field goal. We rest Kato against BGSU & Ramart squeaks out a victory to get us bowl eligible & Kato comes back & beats Ohio again in a great game. Changes Akron Football football forever. We all become believers, start filling the stadium & finish the climb & become MAC champs in 2019

I don’t see it, neither have really done anything yet in open field on punt or kickoff returns, he has made a few tacklers miss but most runs have been sideways & i think best PR is like 13 yards, overall speed is not good enough other than Kwad on the offensive side

I agree, I think quick pass pattens. Stays, slants, WR screens. I think this D-Line would come hard & screens to RB could work if executed well Please don’t stick with usual vertical routes that take time, at this time the blocking has been bad & Kato is tucking & running before WR can even run their routes

Do we really need a 12th game? We have 4 games in NIU, EMU, BGSU, & Ohio to get 2 victories. If we can’t get 2 than we don’t deserve a bowl & who we going to find FBS we could beat? And, what state of mind would the players be in if they had another game December 1st that isn’t MACC? I think we can get 2 to be 6-5 & go to the Bahamas Bowl (personal preference)

With Buffalo beating Miami last night it looks like Buffalo is favorite to represent the East in the MACC. Buffalo has Kent, Ohio & BGSU left. The Ohio game has meaning since Ohio only has one loss as of now but Ohio has WMU, Miami, Buffalo & Akron left & a much harder path.

I know he caught a touchdown in a game but from what I hear the TE screen is his best play, hands questionable down field, if he was a good option they would be using him like Booker because it was successful

From my understanding none of the TE are very good receiving options, just blockers, it REALLY hurt losing Booker, don’t know if Milwee will actually do it during game time but I have heard they’ve been practicing the 5 wide package but Milwee seems to stick with what he is comfortable with & not what defense dictates

I predict we go five wide this week, screw the running game

I agree, took program out of the dumps, everything is better without a doubt, my frustration is we can’t seem to beat you in different ways offensively, We couldn’t get anything going Saturday & we never adjusted. Change the package, hurry up, do something

Maybe we will wake up & see the o-Line is a weakness & we have no run game, get the TE off the field, he has dropped every pass we have thrown him & I mean everyone & go 5 wide & see if our RB & WR’s can block & run in open field with quick screens, slants, button hooks to open up the longer passes, something doesn’t work well TRY something new, Morgan State sucked, our Defense flat out won the Northwestern game with 3 defensive TD’s, our offense has been flat out awful

Not enough depth at o-Line, Council was starting guard & the right tackle got hurt, no one could fill the tackle spot in camp & they moved Council to tackle, insert Corne at guard, Council gets hurt & where at our 3rd tackle & 2nd guard, they are going to be competing this week for o-Line spots. That would be my guess

I thought I seen in the off season that we installed the FAU offense that was up paced & ran all over us using different kinds of WR screens? I have said many times that is part of the running game in the spread. Not picking on Newman but when we split him out it is a waste of a body on the field. He has dropped both little screens they have ran to him & after watching 1 game film you realize he is not a threat, just a blocker, so if you never use short patterns or WR screens it makes covering the vertical routes we run every pass play a lot easier to cover, you have to use the entire field to make the defenses job more difficult

I’m not ? % on this but since we went to a bowl game & wore blue the players where given those jerseys and from what I’ve heard the new ones haven’t come in yet. They took their team pictures in the same ugly white version of those jerseys, they got the whites back in time for Nebraska but still waiting on the blues

1. I wanted to go over 4 but this appears to be a running team. 2. I believe over 351 as I’m just thinking this is a good game to get your fairly new QB & new receivers some work 3. I really have no idea who will get the most catches but Burkhart is a local & im pulling for him 4. I think we will be high, somewhere around 50 so i did under 52 but wouldn’t be surprised if we scored more, team is under NCAA penalty with an interim coach who is forcing the running game to help eat clock, little bit of their game I watched they are bad & if they pass & stop clock a lot we could end up with a complete blowout
