And keep in mind, one guy might run a 4.4 & another may run a 4.8 & the QB might have a 275 lb guy coming at him, he may be able to step into throw, may not, could have to step up in pocket or be on the run @Cykron you are making it sound like it’s a easy thing to do, look at the %’s of completions by distance, it drops significantly on your streaks, it’s the most difficult play to execute but has the biggest reward & also keeps a defense honest & has to be attempted a few times a game Im sure they will get better at it

Maybe @CDMac can find out but from the few people I’ve talked to WR corps should be stronger than last year. So far they are doing mostly TE formations with Bennett & Stewart at WR & Williams at Slot, Burkhart & Smith rotating in at WR, when in 4 wide Burkhart would be the other slot, time will tell, offense scored 7 TD’s yesterday & looked much better

What do you mean? I don’t know of any QB’s coming in, We are very young & vulnerable at QB, IMO we need Kato to stay healthy, 2 redshirt freshman behind him & from what I’m hearing they are not ready, it’s early though & hopefully they progress

Why is this such a big deal? Hickson, old RB Coach was pretty religious & ran a non denominational group for the players if they where interested, there are a lot of demands on these kids & many are away from family & if there are people or groups that help them get through, that is great, I believe that most people pray at some level, I’m glad they have a team prayer & im sure it won’t be held against you if you don’t participate. I heard St. V Coach is doing linebackers, one of the offensive grad asst. from last year is doing the TE/H back since Boykin went to RB not announcing. DC makes you think a little, i thought they would give to Stroud & let Thompson the video guy do DL as he works with them now, maybe Stroud, just a guess doesn’t feel comfortable taking for health reasons, be interested in seeing what we do, any old Bowden connections out there ?

Couple things, watching video it showed Robbie Kelley in an arm sling, prospectus had 13 number changes, noticed a few starting defenders not on depth chart but listed on roster Alvin Davis & Brian Bell. Dylan Meeks moved to D-Line, more depth on D-Line than last year. Offensive formation used with TE, if i remember right they used the H formation on prospectus last year, maybe for Chapman to be listed as a starter Like seeing football ? news, gets the blood pumping

I have a buddy of a buddy so what i hear i truly never know if details are accurate & they don’t disclose injuries & they definitely don’t say what the injury is so i stay vague but i believe Johns is staying at TE/Hback, & Kelley has a season ending injury & should be back next year but again i’m NO insider

On the rise

This is good news, we return most of our defense & can use some depth on DL to keep them fresh, I know we gave up some big points last year but I’m hopeful the D can be good & give the offense a chance to catch up, there will be a lot of new faces on offense this year

Yes it is, my thoughts are we repeat what we did last year & we compete in MAC Championship this year, not just play in but compete & next year I think we are MAC Champs
