That gets you ready for some football, our defense is gotta be good, I’ve always said our d-tackles where a weak spot, the whole d-line looks to have improved & got depth, linebackers look strong & our DB’s maybe the strongest, a lot of new faces on offense but that is probably a good thing, let’s hope for more dynamic play makers

This whole defense is graduating, we have quite a few contributors returning but we definitely needed to reload & address defensive depth, I like how they are recruiting. It seems to have certainly improved over the last couple years. Hopefully we can truly compete for MACC.

I don’t think so, I think it’s about the experience, last year must have increased this year’s budget, 1 million for Penn State, MACC & Boca Bowl, the kids are getting a lot of gear this year, should be another good payout year with Nebraska & Northwestern this year, be sweet to make MACC & another Bowl this year, help with recruiting, specially if we compete & keep this thing rolling

He missed the 1st half of season do to injury, I’m not defending him at all, i’ve seen him play a lot, his knock is he has always been skinny & soft & needs to get in weight room, with that said i have seen him play on a AAU team with Kyle Young at Ohio State, Derek Koch that was at Bowling Green last year & Dustin Burkhart who plays WR at Akron. They beat the King James team in the King James tourney in semifinals here in Akron & lost to a team by a couple points from Oregon, Washington & Canada area in Championship Anyway, he worked nice on that team as a stretch 4 bringing a big out of key & could shoot the 3, but they had Young & Koch who cleaned up the glass, I believe at the time they was the #1 team in State according to a spectator I guess since they beat All Ohio Red the week before beating King James

Jake is from Bishop Hartley in Columbus before going to prep school, he is a high volume shooter, He has always been a highly ranked player based off his scoring average, he can shoot, likes to shoot & does shoot a lot, IMO the rest of his game will struggle to transition to this level of basketball

From what I heard there was 2 pick six’s on fairly simple bubble type passes & a WR fumbled after a catch the defense picked up & returned for a score, the positive was they worked on the running game after that & it seemed to work pretty well / the negative would be our defense had trouble stopping the run game Excited for Spring Game & Surplus Sale Go Zips
