Went WAY TOO FAR with that! Happy for the W tonight. Hope the 2nd round will be played with effort for 40 minutes. We started to pick it up after we saw the game and W in reach tonight. Glad to see we had something left.

What changed?

Offense is hanging in there. Starting to get a couple of hustle plays. Defense is still lacking effort.

Length bothers him. Not mobile enough to counter. I will say this though, the length seems to be bothering our guards more so than Big Dog. Could be why we are settling for so many deep 3s. Still have to attack.

Story of our program...

When teams can guard Big Dog 1 on 1, we struggle. Got away with it in the MAC. We are just a bad cutting team off the ball. We just stand. Not high IQ.

Neither team looking "excited" to be there. Still early and feeling each other out?

Even if another rivalry, like Miami and Ohio would play in the final, they probably wouldn't exceed 3-4k. Akron and Kent draws!

I do know who Elton is, by name only, of course. Anyways, I do question the staff. I am not saying they are bad people or any of that. I am saying that there are people within KDs reach that would benefit the program. I have NO CLUE why he doesn't reach out to them. (Or maybe he has, I don't know). But I do know that others on here feel the same way. KD can't keep this up on his own Imo. He needs basketball brains around him. Not slighting anyone on staff now, but I think that we all agree nothing has changed and nothing has improved. If all these other teams in the country bring in an additional staff member, coaches assistant or whatever, then maybe that could benefit KD and the Zips too.
