    I said Akron bc why not? As someone mentioned in another thread, when I think of Liberty, I think of an upper echelon MAC team and I'd hope that we can hang with anyone in the MAC based on the # of P5 transfers playing under the MAC's best coach - Joe Moorhead.

    This is interesting, you bring up very valid points re: saturation. I had always believed that Ohio football was the mecca of football. I wonder how UC compares to the rest of the AAC/Big12

    I agree with most of your post but the thing is they (OSU or whomever) will be paying said fee to any mid-major/smaller program, & with revenue and viewership taking priority, it makes more sense to schedule games with localized teams that can bring in fans/viewers to offset aforementioned fees.

    Why do you say that? bc Akron almost beat OSU last year or bc of conference realignment?

    I like playing Wright State bc they're semi-local. I'd favor playing other Ohio schools (OSU, Xavier, & UD etc.) even if it means playing away over the likes of Bradley and Jackson State. Smh

    Yeah that's how I'm looking at it plus the ACC is a Clemson loss away from vying for the worst "power five" conference w/ the PAC

    I see two super conferences, not four. One with an ESPN/ABC deal & the other with fox.

    In the minority here but I think a renovation and reduction in seat capacity would not only help with aesthetics and it will make the JAR seem like it's drawling more people in than it actually is.
