  1. I am enjoying the advertising rotation of all the MAC teams on the scorers table
  2. I really don't think the guards are that bad. They didn't have a good night against Miami, but after each of the 7 MAC wins it seems like one of them has stepped up. When Ali and Enrique are averaging over half of the points each game, we probably aren't going to have a guy like Scott or Thornton drop 16 points, and that's okay
  3. 756 straight games with making at least one 3! Can this streak reach 757?!?!
  4. Yes, we shouldn't lose any games in the MAC but an 18 game win streak is most likely not going to happen. Even the 17-18 and 18-19 Buffalo teams didn't go 18-0, they lost at NIU back to back years. A tough loss can help a team get refocused. Its not like we got blown out, the execution on defense just wasn't there when it needed to be
  5. Just wild MAC standings now. In sole possession of 3rd is now CMU at 6-2 (who were projected to finish last). BG and WMU are tied for 4th. Kent is tied for 8th with Ball state at 3-5.
  6. Feels a lot like the st Bonaventure game, not only because of the ending. But not very balanced scoring, couldn’t get that stop when we needed it. Ali did get us back in the game, but he did force up a few shots he didn’t need. Really want to see Scott get some more shots up. We always hear “it’s tough to win on the road” but on the road against Miami sucks to be one we lose. Eastern has had a tough month but can’t rely on that Tuesday
  7. Groce’s main complaint on the post game was that Miami got better quality looks on 2 pointers and allowing so many layups
  8. I could see a Greg tribble layup play coming out of this TO
  9. I like the offensive possessions, don’t need a three here
  10. Keep making free throws and get back into it
  11. Just got a full red screen when they made the layup
  12. Transition layups are just not our thing
  13. This will be a big “deodorant” game if we can pull this out
  14. If you watch the press conference from the last game there were a few questions about how far this team can go, a lot of it is the answers from that. Enrique obviously said “we are taking it one game at a time, but we have another gear in us” Don’t love that this the article tries to look too far into the future, just a superstitious thing. At least no one pulled a Chris Payton in the article, the players are humble and focused
  15. Yes, the 2022 postseason games had awful weather. The game against Pitt was the worst game I have ever stood through, that includes the 2018 game against Rider. I'm assuming one of the numbers is tickets sold and one is actual scanned in tickets. One of those two isn't made public and I'm guessing that is where they got the 47% increase
  16. I would say I don’t hate the jar. It has a good location on campus, close to the highway if you are just coming for a game. I have criticized the lack of concessions in the past, but they have done a good job recently with opening up multiple stands at the top of the stairs. The worst parts (to me) are the bleachers and the stupid bar that blocks the view from the upper level. The capacity is great for our program, when it does get full it is rocking, on games where it isn’t full, it isn’t “dress like a seat night” like infocision. Love the stat boards and the crystal clear video board. It could be much worse, but could also be improved with some renovations
  17. Also, If SDSU keeps their winning ways going we will have another Q2 win
