  1. Not a commitment, but one to watch. Offer to 2025 WR Jeremiah Hoffman from the state of Colorado. Formerly a Charlotte commitment.
  2. Bump for update. I believe classes have started, so unless there are commitments that have yet to be unveiled, this is what we are heading into the spring with. We still have a glaring hole at DT that will likely be partially filled by JUCOs. This probably isn’t going to be our strongest portal class, but the staff seems to have done a solid job considering the players we’ve lost and our NIL situation.
  3. Offer to JUCO DT Tyson Toscano.
  4. I’m sure South Florida, Memphis, and East Carolina are offering $. They supposedly have three of the bigger NIL presences in their conference. Unfortunately for us, AD has signed with an agent. So little to no chance of him returning.
  5. South Florida, Memphis, Nevada, East Carolina, and North Texas so far.
  6. Offer to JUCO DT Shefon Boyd. It’s looking like our new DL coach is leaning heavy towards JUCO DTs this cycle.
  7. We’re at 7 scholarship LBs now, which is the number we usually have under this staff. Maybe one of the scholarships get shifted away from DL or DB? Unless someone else leaves, it seems we’ll be rolling out some combination of: Hollobaugh Spriggs Benenge Hocker I like all 3 of the freshmen but I’m not sure how soon they will be ready to contribute.
  8. Offer and visit for JUCO DT Damien Burgueno. I’d guess a commitment is incoming.
  9. I’ve updated this thread with what’s still needed. One more scholarship WR, unless the staff decides to shift the numbers elsewhere. Defense still needs work.
  10. Former CBs coach Tre Bell’s stay at UMASS was short lived.
  11. https://x.com/therealjgant/status/1876704262224286127?s=61&t=_TFqePY4lFXUo5BavIxA3w RB Jordan Gant from Tennessee State
  12. Offer to JUCO DT Darien Jackson. Also, it looks like Anthony Leonard is our new DL coach.
  13. May turn out to be a really nice pickup. Outside of his other offers, he was scheduled to visit JMU as well, but I don’t know if that visit happened. I think he has 2 years of eligibility remaining.
  14. https://purdue.rivals.com/news/purdue-lands-akron-defensive-end-transfer-cj-nunnally-iv
  15. Agreed. I imagine Mitchell and Fox will see some type of rotation this year.
  16. We seem to mostly be targeting OTs at this point. Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see further movement before the 2025 season kicks off.
  17. It’s possible, but I don’t know if the staff wants to throw that much responsibility on him in Week 1. Maybe as the season progresses McManus will take over. It’s a lot to ask for a freshman OL to be physically ready and make all the calls. Although, could get by with the calls part by having a veteran guard do it instead. I’m excited about Morris. I think he’s in line for a breakout year.
  18. Offer to WR Artis Cole of ULM. Former JUCO.
  19. He and Brown-Demery are studs. We’ll have to enjoy them while they’re here.
  20. Offer to OL Cole Morgan of Michigan. Did not play at Michigan. Was a PWO that had multiple G5 and lower offers coming out of prep.
  21. Offer to CB Tyrell Raby of Middle Tennessee State. Started 13 games for MTSU over the past 2 seasons.
  22. Offer to JUCO DT Desean Watts.
  23. Offer to OL James Faminu of Temple. Started games at LT, LG, and RT.
  24. Offer to OL J’Shun Bodiford of Middle Tennessee State. Former JUCO. Started the first game at RT for MTSU before getting injured for the season.
  25. He dominated at JUCO and looked substantially better than Nunnally coming out of JUCO - good enough to get a P4 opportunity. Of course that doesn’t mean he’ll any better, or as good as Nunnally, but it’s at least a comparison point. He’s a guy to be excited about and will join a really young DE room with loads of upside. Now we need to address DT. Happy New Year!
