Once again, same old question: Will Broughton play? I believe last week was the first week that he dressed since the injury in Minnesota, does that mean he might actually hit the field this week? The lack of information from this program is so frustrating (among other things!)

I don’t even know where to start! Sounds like this kid is a great D3 receiver. I’m sure dozens of FBS teams will be lining up to sign this 5’8 150lb white wide receiver 🙄. Did it ever cross your mind that he’s playing against D3 DB’s? Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of great athletes in D3 but in general, they are an inch or two too short, or not as quick, or not as strong, or not as fast - that’s why they are in D3 and not D1. But back to the point, Akron, or any lower tier D1 school (or FCS) would absolutely destroy Mt Union. Anyone with any common sense or football knowledge knows this - you obviously don’t fall into that category. It’s an absolutely ridiculous debate. Also interesting that you somehow know what football I watch. Could you please explain how you know what levels of football that I watch/follow?

This continues to baffle me. Alexander and Cravaack have proven to be very sure handed, reliable, receivers but they always seem to be the third or fourth read in the passing game. Very rarely are they a primary receiver. This passing game seems to only focus on the deep outs or crossing patterns deep over the middle. I think an intermediate passing game would certainly help Roggow and make his life easier. Roggow has done his best in a tough situation but accuracy on his long throws isn’t his strength and he hasn’t been helped with numerous drops by the wide outs.

Besides Kent (which is absolutely no gimme) the only chance of this team winning another game is if Broughton comes back, puts on a cape, and literally carries this team. That’s asking a lot of a redshirt freshman with a bum knee, but sadly, that’s the reality.

Bad combination - Roggow’s throws over the middle are always high and our wide outs have a lot of trouble catching high passes.
