Their issue isn't years like this one, it's the year where (IMO) they had the most talented and couldn't win it. And that's happened several times.

They've definitely shot the ball well from deep in the tournament: vs EMU - 12-29, 41.4% vs Kent - 11-30, 36.7%

Tonight will be the 12th time in the last 18 seasons (minus 2020) that Akron will play in the MAC Championship game. We've been fortunate to have great coaches and players to make it all possible.
