Capt:I agree with your analysis, with one exception: I would flip the positions of Miami and Can't. Why?1.) Miami was able to go to Can't and win. Will Can't be able to go to Oxford and get the job done? Yes , I know that Miami's win at Can't was some time ago and Can't is playing much better now. But Can't, not to take anything away from them, got on a roll against the West. (As of course most of the East did) I am skeptical Can't can win at Oxford, due primarily to Ford being a rookie head coach vs CC. 2.) Jordan Mincy, not to take anything away from his recent performances, can't keep this up. (not even close to the 27 points he scored on OU - not even REMOTELY CLOSEShould be an interesting race to the finish.

Skip-Zip,I understand where you are coming from concerning being in the best possible position to win the MAC tournament, but at this point I think it is near impossible to determine the best set up for the Zips. As I told a freind of mine several days ago, if BG goes into Buffalo and wins, throw everything out the window as far as who will win the East and seeding posibilities. AS WE ALL KNOW THIS IS THE MAC, CRAZY THINGS HAPPEN.As far as the BG- Buffalo game last night, on the Bulls fan site, they are stating that BG threw a 2-3 zone at them, and the Bulls had trouble responding all night.

The descrepency in the number of foul shots attempted was ridiculous!!

I was telling a couple of my freinds yesterday prior to the game, I was certain that Buffalo, who would be missing one of their current starters, would in no way win in Oxford - but they did.Also , that BG would not be able to go to Athens and win - but they did. I know that the MAC is unpredictable , But WOW!!!. If the Zips can keep developing an inside game and eliminate stupid mistakes, a MAC title, might , just might be possible. Time will tell.

With Can't's loss today at Athens, all three MAC east teams that played on the road this weekend,lost. That is some consolation. BUT TUES GAME AGAINST BUFFALO IS HUGE!!!!!

It is still 48 hours away, but let's start predictions for Sat: I still can't, at least at this point, overlook our lack of rebounding and inside scoring. I think are chances are around 40% thet we pull this one out. Your thoughts?

Quickzips,You make excellent points. However, I do not beleive there has ever been a combination this year of Bardo and the McKnights in the game together at the same time.

KD has stated that he is concerned with a lack of low post scoring. Put Brett and Chris in the game together more often, and have Bardo in there with him. The two McKnights have no doubt been playing together for years. Bardo could help set low post screens. As far as Nate is concerned, he can come off the bench for both Chris and Brett , or could play at the 2 position. Yes , I said 2 position. What guard couldn't he post up in the MAC. KD probably should have experimented with this in non-conference play.

I hope D. Roberts can get back on track scoring wise tonight. It will help take some pressure off Humpty.

Many of you might not agree with this idea, but how about sometimes putting Bardo at center, the McKnight brothers at forwards and Linhart at the 2 postition. Just a thought.
