Not sure how much JT will help with individual recruits, but he may be able to help get Bowden into some of the coaches or schools that haven't been UA friendly in the past. Egos are involved and I am sure JT won't be that much of a difference maker if any at all.

He never even made it to campus. He was shot before he got there. A case of wrong place at the wrong time. This would be a great story if he were able to play. Kid was a stud OLB/DE prospect a couple years back. Good luck to him.

I'm a little surprised we haven't heard anything about Tyler Williams. I though TB woulf know how to utilize his talent more and make him more of an impact player. Nothing yet.

Don't rivalries have to be 2 sided? You may consider Cleveland and Columbus to be Akrons rivals, but I don't think the thought is reciprocated. I see Cincy and Cleveland being rivals because of pro sports. I don't see anything for Akron, Cleveland or Columbus to be rivals for.

That sucks. When I saw the Int. I thought for sure they would mention Akron. I was hoping I missed a few during trips to the bathroom or food runs.

In the last decade, 1 NC, played in 2 other NC, played in, and won, more BCS games than any other school, yet you say they are embarrassing. You and a couple other guys use that same flawed logic as your excuse. I lived in Ohio, near Akron, my entire life up until 5 years ago when i had to move to Atlanta. It's amazing that you guys have met so many of these people and I have never met 1 that acts like that. Also, I have never seen people talk down to Akron. I am not saying none of this happens, but it certainly doesn't happen to the extreme you guys say it does, or I also would have seen it. I don't doubt at all that if it happens to you it is because you initiate it. 2 things that you guys seem to never realize: 1-You are in Ohio. Of course there are a lot of OSU fans. If you were in Michigan, there would be a lot of Michigan fans. If you were in Iowa, there are a lot of Iowa fans. Wherever you are, the largest school is going to have the most fans. Every fan base has their share of idiot fans. 2-OSU has one of the largest alumni bases in the nation. You are going to run into OSU fans. Sorry. Your assumption that all OSU fans aren't OSU grads is very flawed. I must be an Akron honk by some peoples definition here. When I was a kid, I wore Akron grear, went to multiple Akron games every year and lived and died by Akron football. My parents, non Akron grads, used to take me to those games. In your logic, we should never have gone and cheered because we weren't Akrong grads. But of course, not that I am an Akron grad, it is ok. I don't really have a problem with you as you don't have to bash OSU and make up OSU bs like skippy and a few others do all the time. But the small penis syndrome really does get old.

Believe what you want. It fits the thought process of many here. However, I agree about the pressure part.

If he was going to this would have been the year to. He had to turn down a couple 4* guys at the end. He is holding 1 schollie for 1 5* WR right now that hasn't signed yet. Supposedly one of the reasons he left UF was the filth that was the SEC and all the BS that went on. Of course none of us will ever know if that is true or not. He kept all the guys that the previous staff got verbals from even though he wouldn't have recruited many of them. That right there shows more integrity than some in the SEC.

Between the over signing, and all of the questionable stuff that goes on in the SEC, it's amazing that the NCAA doesn't come down on them. The sCam Newton thing was bad enough. Alabama is bad, but Auburn is as dirty as it gets.
