I agree it's too early to give up the ship and this thing can be turned around. However, using the old team A beat, or barely beat, Team B doesn't mean a lot. Iowa is not a good team, but they would still smoke Akron. UCF looked good, but you have to look at the competition. I bet those that don't know any better will probably think Akron is a great team after next week. At least they better think that. Indiana scored over 70 points last night. They will still probably only win 5-6 games at the most in the crappy B10

If we look this bad with all of these senior transfers playing, I fear what is behind them.

The B10 sucks and will continue to suck until they start paying for coaching staffs like the SEC does. Players too, but that is a different conversation. There is 1-2 tough games in the B10 each year. They need to schedule outside of conference to make it up. Most SEC teams don't come north. If you look at their out of conference schedules, they suck too. Difference is the SEC has more than 2 good teams.

Scout lists him as a 275lb guard. Rivals as a 250lb DE. 247 as a 300lb DT. I understand that the position depends on what he is best projected or being recruited as. But the weight difference is ridiculous. Either way it sounds like a nice pickup.

For those of you that are very uninformed, even Bama brings in JUCO's. Look up the top 2 JUCO OT's and see who is recruiting them. You may be surprised. Not every transfer has a background issue. Sure, some do, but not most. Many are homesick and go to the local school. Others realize they are already being recruited over and realize they will never play at their current school. Others have new coaching staffs that didn't recruit them. Some just realize they made a mistake. There are many, many reasons to transfer. Akron has had quite a few transfers that have helped out.

It hasn't happened yet. However, he is being recruited over and will probably never play. A transfer would be in his best interest
