I've got 7-9 people coming with me. We've got a hotel room and will prob check some casinos, Windsor, and the Detroit Brewing Company, which we didn't have time to find at the MACC game. Again I thought Ford Field was great. Let's fill that place up!!!! :macc:

Incredible....an ESPN Instant Classic for sure!!!! I will not soon forget: Meeting great, classy NIU fans. Experiencing beautiful (and warm) Ford Field. Watching players like Wolfe, Hixon, Getsy and Biggs play their hearts out. High fiving just about every fan on the Akron side. EVEN THE GUY WITH THE K E N T F L A S H E S BASEBALL HAT. The comeback. The PASS. Seeing Akron building a winning tradition right before our eyes. Having my OSU buddies in C-Bus calling me at 12:30 am gushing all over our AKRON ZIPS and the MAC. What a night. GO ZIPS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is it that following akron sports is as much fun as swallowing broken glass? Excruciating pain. Name the sport- we lose when it counts in the worst way. At least in soccer we advance a little bit, then lose. I'm frankly tired of rooting for individual players and their stats or future/present pro careers. We deserve to ignore it all until after the school wins something, then jump on the bandwagon after the fact. At least maybe we'll have a nice campus in 10-20 years. Mr. Negative right now. But here's one positive, Can't didn't knock us out. Cuz you damn well know they would have if they played us.
