I agree. I doubt we see that kind of heavy activity again, but I’m sure we’ll see some more signings and defections.

What is most surprising to me is the lack of productive Zips players that have hit the portal. Nearly every team has lost at least one key player.

So far, our biggest losses have probably been Max Tucker and Lester Miller who aren’t portal related. I thought both guys were underrated high school recruits and it seems Boston College agreed on Tucker. Remains to be seen with Miller.

Agreed.  I hope the luster of the JoMo hire has not worn off by our season and poor attendance.

Try doing it without a Marketing Director, and only two SIDs, 1 videographer and 3 GAs wit zero experience covering football, mens and womens soccer, volleyball swimming and diving, rifle and now mens and womens basketball all at the same time.  You can put lipstick on the JAR with new lighting and a new floor, but you gut the admin staff and expect "other school in the MAC" amenities?

I'm pretty sure I could do it in less than an hour, Captain K could probably do it in 30 min.  One of these folks could likely do it in 15 min with eyes closed UA Computer Science Degree

  3. Irons looks REALLY good to me but Shocky Jacques-Louis has been amazing averaging nearly 7 catches per game.  He certainly has taken the sting off Mumpfield leaving.  As a player and now a fan I love playing against the P5 teams but I there was a way we could get out of them for next next year or two.  We can't afford injuries and I would to get Ws

Perhaps you should consider the possibilty that the coaching staff is unwilling to give George much information to be published. Giving away your game plan and indepth player evaluations probably isn't the best bet either.

Agreed.  I am certainly not a George fan.....but the coaches are keeping their cards close and evaluating how to get the most out of what they have.  Smart!  They have inherited players from a different coach.  They don't have the luxury of having a roster of players they recruited to their schemes so they have to adapt to what they have.  I find this to be a very encouraging article showing how good this staff is!
