    Right now buffalo is beating BGSU 27 to 20, Northern Ill is losing to Ohio, Miami of Ohio taking Purdue to the wire, and Ball State is beating Indiana 14-0 in the first quarter. Don't be fooled ladies and gentleman Central Michigan is good. It will be interesting to see just how good certain teams are in the MAC!

    Zipsrifle we are on the same page brotha cause I was thinking the "EXACT" same thing. And honestly I don't feel overly confident about beating them. We can't have the offense stalling and waiting until the fourth quarter to beat a team "AT THEIR HOUSE!" Right now it is 41 to 10 Notre Dame over Penn State! That doesn't help our BCS at large bid! :D

    Oh god a blocked punt and they recover! You can't blame the D if they score right now, they have played almost the entire game and had to deal with North Carlina heat at noon, while the offense goes 3 and out and goes back to the side line to sip water!! Man I would slap the shit outta and offensive player right now!!!!

    NoVa,Nobody on this board makes unfounded predictions. In fact, a prerequisite for making predictions on this board is submission of each participant’s statistical forecasting model to the board’s forecasting model oversight committee. Only after the committee has subjected a model to rigorous testing is one allowed to post their prediction. The highest rating awarded to NCST’s defense by any of the approved models is 27th in the nation (most models have them much lower). PSU’s defense, on the other hand, has an average rating of 14th. The difference is equal to over 100 yards in total offense and 10 points allowed. My prediction is Akron 27 NCST 21. Akron wins with last possession kept alive by two critical penalties against NCST: one on an NCST cornerback, and the other on the NCST bench. :blink:

    Man I wish i had the money cause I would open up a Zips Store. I mean Basketball shorts and more that 2 pair, in all 3 school colors, a wall of hats, coffee mugs, Banners, flags, coasters, stuffed zippys, posters, keychains, lamps, if would be a straight rip of the Buckeyes Stores here in Columbus!I hope campus does that promotion of bring in any college tshirt and get an Akron on free, outta site outta mind, lets keep the city painted blue and gold!!!!

    I swear some of you miss the point! I said for Shitz and giggles, everyone know PSU will not finish that far dwon in the big 10. But....follow me for 1 minute. Everyone knows it is hard to beat the same team twice and the rematch would be in a neutral site. Better yet, The score was 17 - 9 in the third quarter, we stop PSU and force them to punt.....BUT we dropped the punt return on which they scored. I think that single play took the wind out of our sails. If we score and go for 2 it's tied at the middle to end of the third quarter. In dry weather maybe he wouldn't have dropped the punt, if it was a home game for AKron maybe he wouldn't have dropped that punt...ANd yeah i know if if's and and's were pots and pans this world would be a kitchen....I guess I am really excited and confident in what i saw from my ZIPS this past weekend!!

    Am I the only one who wasn't that impressed with Penn State. We shut down their run game, if the DB turns around on the first touchdown that's an interception. And we need to hold onto the football. My question is this Motor City Bowl plays the Big Ten's 7th place team. I know it is looking ahead and probably a long shot, but just for sh*t's and giggles.1. OSU2. Michigan3. Iowa4. Wisconsin5. Michigan State6. Minnesota or Purdue7. Penn StateRematch indoor dry weather passing attack in effect?P.S. I though the changed the date of the MCB game? The site says it is still Dec. 26th.?

    Wow! I can't believe that story!....Man I am sorry no matter how old you are you gotta have some basic level of football knowledge to know better. DAMN :blink: I feel sorry for the guy, I am sure he got ridiculed by fans and his team for that one. :D
