  5. This may be the first time in history Rifle has crashed another thread!
  6. Actually, Zipshot is correct, there are some pretty highly ranked recruits coming into the program. I can't remember the specific details, and I don't want to perpetuate any false information so I'll leave it at that for now. Let me see if I can find out some specifics.
  7. That was awesome. I'm definately going to a few soccer matches this year!
  8. Found this video, but I can't post the YouTube link:Could they have chosen any cheesier music? I don't think so! I think I could have done a better JOB on this!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01OXVDzEz9E

  12. Just found this one on Dom. Not very clean video, and he has Biggs in one of the shots, but it does have some good video of DH. name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flush" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>"> name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flush" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  13. Ok, here's the WMU game this year. This was my daughters 1st Zips game (11 months old). Another CLASSIC! Frenchie with the call:
  14. Well, It'll probably only matter for the first few games when the attendance is high, then we can sit anywhere.
  15. I can see how the stadium is ahead of schedule. I thought that maybe we would see some concrete by this time, but we already have pilings rising into the air. I was anticipating a big tear up around the stadium to upgrade the utilities to the area as there will be 30,000 + people in one place at one time. Once the steel starts going up, this thing is going to take shape quickly.
  16. I have 2 Frye Jerseys, one 5 and one 9. I'm not gonna sit here and defend him as a top notch starting NFL QB, because he had the chance and didn't prove it. On the other hand, I do firmly believe he was a scape goat last season and kept Romeo in charge. Anyway, back to JT, does he downplay his association with UA or is he pretty much like any other player? I always hope to see him with a zips hat or shirt or something on, but that is never the case. Seemed like he got out of town pretty quickly a few years ago when we retired his # too. I don't know the whole story, but I would love for him to successfully finish his career in Cleveland and do for the football team what LBJ had done for the BB team.
  17. If JD has a bad season, he's out. I think 6-6 will keep him here, but anything less and he's probably gone. As I said before, I think initially JD wanted to get into Akron and Get out. Did a patch job that looked pretty good early on, but then it fell apart as the integrity of the players wasn't up to par. I think he sticks it out and I think the Stadium helps him a bit, as we don't want an entirely new scheme when we open against Indiana in a brand new stadium.
  18. Is this the first #1 recruit landed by a MAC School? My guess would be yes.
  19. How does the "family package" thing work, as this will be my first year getting that. Is it closer to a General Admission type setup or a reserved setup? I think I saw in my season ticket renewal that we would be in the NW corner of the stadium in the upper deck. It would be nice if we could pick out our tickets and get some type of reserved seat setup so that we can make sure were in a good location. I think in the RB it is a GA type setup, but what about at ICS?
  20. Yea, a bike is a really good way to get around campus and the city.....at least it was 10 years ago. I lived in literally about 7 different places in my time on campus and a bike could get me from downtown to Summa in short order.
  21. This is just a typical response I would expect from anyone. Today, each shopping center has MORE than enough parking. Seriously, I don't ever think I can remember a mall parking lot being completely full, this is where the comparisons are being drawn. In addition, the Akron campus is about as compact as you are going to find. They have done a great job building parking decks to get the cars close to campus. The bus thing is a GREAT idea, but few american college kids have been exposed to city mass transit and like when I was in school, will likely rarely use it because it is a slight inconvienence.
  22. Well, it looks like the killer view of downtown will be near the top of the visitors stands. Not what I was hoping.
  23. I've got 3 excel sheets. 2 on my home computer (the first one just got too big) and one on my work computer for when I travel. My first pic on my home computer is from Feb. 29th. Snow on the ground, a couple trucks and some guys wiring up rebar. Does anyone have a program or know of a way to take these screen dumps and make them into a movie? I was just going to keep gathering pics and then figure out how I was going to put the movie together in a couple months. Does anyone know if UA is going to do their own time-lapse?
  24. What??? Milquetoast.....throw in some eggs, a griddle and we've got some french toast!
  25. I've been doing this since day 1, but I have to admit I don't have every day. We'll keep it up and swap pics here in the future to fill in any gaps!
