  1. Sounds like Rydell Brooks is getting it... nothing for Peanut Butter Goddard
  2. Sounds like we got him, from the Niagra boards"He's gone... Just confirmed it from a member of athletics...No playing time, and the wealth of guards brought in was the specific reason.Wish him well, he was a good guy!NU'07"
  3. Actually Captain Kangaroo found it!
  4. Mike, FYIHere is his choice:Kansas JC is next stop for Beaver Falls' JeterEx-Beaver Falls star returns to basketballTuesday, May 15, 2007By Mike White, Pittsburgh Post-GazetteLance Jeter, a former two-sport standout at Beaver Falls High School, will restart his basketball career at a junior college with the hope of playing in the future at Kansas State.Jeter said yesterday he will attend Hutchinson Community College (Kan.) in the fall and play basketball at the two-year school. Jeter recently left the University of Cincinnati, where he was on a football scholarship. He was redshirted last season. After leaving Cincinnati, Jeter came close to accepting a basketball scholarship to Akron. But Kansas State assistant coach Brad Underwood called Jeter recently, and Kansas State urged the 6-foot-3 guard to attend Hutchinson for a year. Jeter visited Hutchinson this past weekend."Kansas State said they will be watching me, coming to my games to see how I look," Jeter said. "If I get in basketball shape, I think they'll be impressed with my abilities."Jeter would have had to sit out a year if he attended Akron. At Hutchinson, he will play this season."It was hard for me sitting out at Cincinnati, just because I was so used to playing," Jeter said. "I started thinking about if I wanted to sit out another year. I decided not to if I'm going to go back to basketball."
  5. Any word on where Rybak's scholarship went?
  6. doubt Goddard will get it. How much time is left for recruiting?
  7. As far as I know, he got the Rybak scholarship, that is the word....
  8. Hmmm, this makes sense, give the scholarship to Jeter, who might not even be eligible, has to sit a year anyway? Makes me wonder about our recruiting!
  9. I thought the same thing.I wish him well. He seems like a good kid and a hard worker. Just a step slow on the court. If Kellog doesn't sign, I wonder if KD will give the scholarship to one of the walk on guards (Goddard would be first in line). It would be a nice reward for him sticking with the program despite his limited PT. Looks like the scholi goes to Lance Jeter
  10. It would be the right thing for Dambrot to do, but will he, that is the question. I have heard rumors to this though....
  11. Yep, Dru was a preferred walk-on knowing that he had a scholarship the following year, I don't think the other preferred walk-ons ever had that status....
  12. Wadsworth went 20-0 when Goddard played, along with other players who went to DII and DIII schools, yeah it means they did something right, but like Big Zip said, he will not take any playing time away from anyone. When you are a walk-on, you are pretty much branded. Scholi players get the nod over walk-ons every time.
  13. Sorry preferred walk-on means nothing, Goddard was a preferred walk-on, and pretty sure Sallee was also.
  14. actually 58-56 hit a 3 from half court... how does it feel, sorry i want them to feel our pain
  15. On espn.com this is what they have:5:05 PM ET No. 14 Miami (OH) at No. 3 Oregon on CBS
  16. I will not cheer for Miami, I don't care if they are in the MAC or not, just thinking about what this did to Dru and Rome, and how unfair this all was, no freakin way. The only good thing at the end of the game is when Goddard broke the scorer's table in two!
  17. unbelievable, he probably was being bombarded and freaked out
  18. nothing on akron yet, i have posted 3 times, and still they dont come up
  19. Oops, my bad, just saw the screw job part and thought it was right on
  20. Another linkhttp://www.macreportonline.com/editorial_a...l_screw_job.htm
  21. Why is Nate Linhart in the game, with a broken thumb? Seriously....
  22. So much for Carroll and Sowers getting playing time, that is what KD said would back up Linhart... I agree it went from a 20 pt. lead to a 1 pt. lead, but still think he should of got some of those players in at some point.....
  23. Then why didn't he get a scholarship somewhere to play ?Come on now... we all cheer for him when he throws a 3 and makes it but do you guys seriously think that if he can contribute and help us win, wouldn't KD play him more?He sees him at practice everyday and if he could play, he would have played. This issue has been overdiscussed already. He concentrated on baseball in the summer, did not play AAU, got a scholi in baseball, but stayed with basketball because he loved it, drop it already.
