Will be pulling for OU/Boals tomorrow over Kent. Absolutely can't stand KSUcks. ... Reghi ... WHY?!?

So much of that is who WANTS it (some of it is luck - right place, right time - I know). Looks like all 5 guys on the floor for Buffalo are looking for the ball. Kent always seems to play us that way too.

2008 - Kent, 9 seed vs #8 UNLV - Kent's offensive drought in the first half that year was particularly enjoyable if I'm remembering correctly. Back to the present ... I could care less about seeding right now after this roller coaster season. We just want to DANCE! Plenty of time to get our Teamism where we want it to be for higher seeding in the future. The winning lately has been fun and I'm with others who are encouraged as we head into the last game against CMU and the MAC Tourney beyond that. We need to continue to find ways to be smart/selfless on offense and stingy/hard-nosed on defense. Love the double-teams lately. We're healthy and look relatively rested this late in the season (OU looks REALLY tired in comparison). Ready for the stretch run - Let's Go Zips!

Keep doubling Sparks or cheating that way. Ball State can have all of the outside shots they want. The double-team was also a big disrupter at OU.

All five guys on the floor should be ready and looking to challenge for every rebound. How many more W's do you create by generating 5-10 more possessions each game? I've always enjoyed guys who have rebounding tenacity. It's obviously one of the qualities we admire in Freeman. Also enjoyed the team defense last night. The majority of OU's possessions were really contested. Defense like that requires intelligent effort. Kudos to the coaching staff for the strategery and getting the guys to buy in to the game plan. Big kudos to the players for playing hard on both ends of the floor (I saw a lot of teamism) and earning a nice W in a tough environment. VERY encouraging as we all think about Cleveland in a few weeks.

Groce may have wanted to say something but I got the impression that Boals, while being cordial, just wanted to move on and get to the locker room himself. OU is NOT playing its best basketball right now and I'm sure he was as frustrated and embarrassed as anyone. Not trying to be an apologist for Boals but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he just wasn't interested in conversation at that moment.

No. Replayed the handshake and Boals shook, gave Groce a quick pat on the back, said something and moved on. Didn't see anything there.

I don't blame Boals for coaching to the end. He's making his guys work and play to the end instead of letting them coast to the locker room after playing like crap at home on Senior Night.
