I am skeptical about winning out and OU/Kent are absolute must wins, so this is the sacrificial road game, by a whisker. And I am not totally convinced that even if D. Sands is clearly our best RB going forward that he will get the most carries/yards, for whatever unknowable internal/political reasons.

I had the opportunity to watch it on direct TV satellite and the broadcast was great although the announcers were too impartial for my liking ?

I'm talking about the OU game, per the blueandgold quote. I will predict we will beat OU and TB will get extended. If we lose to them, we probably will not have won jack. You can't be owned by a rival indefinitely, ask John Cooper.
