  1. There is no way we should have been anything less than #4! And not only that, we will likely play Michigan, again!
  2. We got ripped off. #5 seed and we get the winner of Niagra-Michigan. #4 is UConn.
  3. A link might show up here: http://www.ncaa.com/news/ncaa/article/2012...hips-selections
  4. I don't even know how this is possible with Can't's terrible loss to Kentucky at the beginning of the season. Thus far, it is UK's only win for the season, and they blew Can't's doors off, 47-14. Thus far, they have beaten the weaker teams in the MAC (not NIU, BGSU, Toledo, or Ohio) and there OOC wins include Towson (1-AA) and Army who are terrible. Granted, the win against #15 Rutgers was impressive, but other than that, Can't only played one other (semi-)worthy opponent and got blown out. I expect Can't to lose to either BGSU and/or Ohio to close out the regular season. True, I don't like Can't at all. Nonetheless, I wouldn't hesitate to give them credit if it was merited (golf and baseball), and I think I'm being fair here.
  5. I think we get a #2/3 seed along with Notre Dame. Maryland gets the #1 while UNC/UCLA gets the #4. CollegeSoccerNews projects #1 Notre Dame, #2 Georgetown, #3 Maryland, and #4 Akron.
  6. Ideally, I would have posted this last night. However, I make a similar post every year regarding the NCAA Tournament and who I'd like to see the Zips play. Teams of interest to me are big name schools, historically rare opponents for the Zips, schools that we trail in the all-time series against, or some combination there of. Considering prospective NCAAT Tournament teams based on the Top-25 rankings, RPI, and conference champions, my wish list includes (in no particular order): UCLA Indiana Cornell Syracuse Louisville SIU-Edwardsville UVA UNC Saint Louis Charlotte What are yours? I'm also rooting for Coastal Carolina and Akron Alum, Shaun Docking, to do well.
  7. This game isn't over yet! Two minutes left!
  8. +1 I really hope Coastal Carolina is not in our regional if we get a seed. Shaun Docking is a UA alum and has built a great program. IMO, they deserve to get to the Elite Eight or the Final Four. Ashton Bennet is up for the Lowe's Senior Class Award with Scott Caldwell. I vote for both of them.
  9. A dominant first half, but not all that many opportunities or shots. WMU seems to be playing all their men behind the ball as if they are happy with a scoreless tie. Do they only need a tie to make the MAC Tournament? I still believe we will get the W and the #1 ranking though.
  10. Great, thanks! I tried streaming 2 earlier, and it didn't work. No idea why it does now, but it does not matter. Go Zips!
  11. And wouldn't you know I plan my evening around watching the game online and for the first time invite a non-alumni friend to check it out too. How disappointing!
  12. Is the video feed working? Or am I the only frustrated and unlucky one?
  13. The only teams we didn't play from the Big Ten this year are Northwestern and Wisconsin. We never play Wisconsin, and they aren't very good. Even without having played two games, we own 15 points against the Big Ten, which is first place by far. The next closest is Penn State with 11. http://www.bigten.org/sports/m-soccer/big1...occer-body.html Northwestern along with Cornell, Georgetown, St. Louis, and Louisville are on my wish list for home NCAA Tournament matches. I'd love to see Coastal Carolina and UA alum coach, Shaun Docking, make the Final Four.
  14. ...and severely cripple Can't's opportunity for MAC East and MAC Championships. How could our guys not embrace and love such a situation? In a down year, playing spoiler to your rival is the best possible opportunity for redemption and salvage. I get it, Can't is up right now having beat a BCS Top-25 on the road and having lost only once until now, but will anyone outside of Can't remember much about the season if they don't make the MACC and play/lose in the Clorox Toilet Bowl? I don't think so, and I have forgotten about it already.
  15. Have you seen Maryland's schedule? It's a gauntlet, and they remain undefeated. As much as I love the Zips and think we have an incredible team, unless Maryland lose, they deserve to be #1. Eventually this will be settled on the field anyhow. One of us loses in the Tournament or we play each other head-to-head.
  16. No way! IE is a thing from one of the evil empires! I much prefer Firefox. I even use Ubuntu whenever I can!
  17. Thanks. I got it going afterall. I think the link originally sent me to another game, and I clicked on the wrong one after installing Chrome. Everything is up and running now. We look great. Tons of possession and chances.
  18. Just installed Chrome and still no luck with the audio. I have also confirmed that the audio is working on my computer. Weird. Stevenson with the goal assisted by Derschang.
  19. Thanks. I am using Firefox and there is no sound or a scoreboard on the screen. Strange. Firefox has always worked beautifully for me in the past. And are we really up 1-0 as the gametracker suggests? If so, I missed the goal.
  20. Does anyone have audio with the stream? I do not and combined with the lack of a scoreboard and poor video resolution, I am quite frustrated. This is better than nothing especially when it is free, but I was expecting more.
  21. Meves played well as did the OSU goalkeeper. I think if we see OSU again at our place in the NCAAT, the result will be very different. Here's to hoping they win the Big Ten Championship because that is the only way OSU gets into the NCAAT.
