  1. Have you seen Maryland's schedule? It's a gauntlet, and they remain undefeated. As much as I love the Zips and think we have an incredible team, unless Maryland lose, they deserve to be #1. Eventually this will be settled on the field anyhow. One of us loses in the Tournament or we play each other head-to-head.
  2. No way! IE is a thing from one of the evil empires! I much prefer Firefox. I even use Ubuntu whenever I can!
  3. Thanks. I got it going afterall. I think the link originally sent me to another game, and I clicked on the wrong one after installing Chrome. Everything is up and running now. We look great. Tons of possession and chances.
  4. Just installed Chrome and still no luck with the audio. I have also confirmed that the audio is working on my computer. Weird. Stevenson with the goal assisted by Derschang.
  5. Thanks. I am using Firefox and there is no sound or a scoreboard on the screen. Strange. Firefox has always worked beautifully for me in the past. And are we really up 1-0 as the gametracker suggests? If so, I missed the goal.
  6. Does anyone have audio with the stream? I do not and combined with the lack of a scoreboard and poor video resolution, I am quite frustrated. This is better than nothing especially when it is free, but I was expecting more.
  7. Meves played well as did the OSU goalkeeper. I think if we see OSU again at our place in the NCAAT, the result will be very different. Here's to hoping they win the Big Ten Championship because that is the only way OSU gets into the NCAAT.
  8. Thanks for the link! This was the only way I could have followed the game other than gametracker. I much prefer watching. Entertaining game. Easily could have been 3-2. I wasn't comfortable with how we sat back and let OSU attack in the final 10 minutes. OSU could have gotten a fluke goal to tie in a game that we mostly dominated. Nonetheless, Coach Porter gets the result again!
  9. Classic!
  10. And I was there to witness it and rub it in the face of my gf who was a UNC student at the time.
  11. Win or lose, I have had fun watching this team the past 7 games. That is much more than I could say during the era of iCoach, and things will only get better from here.
  12. Maybe there was some hangover from last week, but the offense is moving now. We have some play-makers! This is a fun team to watch. Although I have never been and am not envious, Peden Stadium looks gorgeous. It's nice to see a MAC game that is near a sellout too.
  13. We also feature the most balanced attack we have ever had. So, marking and/or shutting down one of our forwards does not prevent us from scoring. Lots of luck to our opponents trying to take us to PK's by playing us to a scoreless tie over 120 minutes of play. This only worked for UVA in the NCAAC, and I still believe they got quite lucky!
  14. This team has not allowed a goal in the last 590 minutes of play. That is outstanding!
  15. This is what Lolla did to be successful. No doubt he was good at it; however, the program is at an entirely different level with national players, many of whom have international experience. Keep in mind too that if we aren't getting these players, they are going to other top programs which would further exaggerate a disparity.
  16. Whoever it is will be getting the keys to the nicest sports car college soccer has to offer, and I do not want it returned to the garage with a single scratch on it let alone wrecked. iCoach took our beater of a station wagon football program and dropped it off at the scrap yard. Let's hope TB has exceptional recycling skills.
  17. Shaun Docking is my favorite for the job. He is an Akron guy, and what he has accomplished at tiny Coastal Carolina among the ACC and USC is nothing short of amazing. However, Docking was my favorite last time around when Lolla left, and we ended up with Porter. If not Docking, I would love for something similar to happen again. Crow never tasted so good!
  18. It's all part of the process!
  19. My favorite: "We were chasing shadows all night."
  20. These defensive personal foul penalties are ridiculous. Two in a row that never should have been called. Giving Miami an extra 30 yards per drive really hurts.
  21. New ZNO Bible verse: DiG 6:15 Only in the spirit of fun, DiG, nothing personal.
  22. If the Packers' defenders had just knocked the ball down like they are coached to do in that situation, the fans and players would have nothing to be upset about. Yes, bogus call though.
  23. Zips Poised to Send Porter Out on a High Note http://www.collegesoccernews.com/index_files/Page4640.htm
  24. Amen. Given where we were last year, did anyone expect us to be within a TD of the tie/lead in the forth quarter? The team had an overall great performance and didn't give up. I think we just ran out of gas. The INT's hurt, and the corresponding throws could have been better/smarter, but DW is likely playing injured and he is light years better than the starting QB I was expecting. I watched a few minutes of both NIU and Miami today, and I have to say, I think we may be competitive for the MAC East this year. That is amazing! MAC East title or not, Zips football is fun to watch again.
  25. There are still a full 9 minutes to play. A TD by us and we're back in it.
