It's nice to see that Can't is playing to their potential. At least our game against OSU was respectable.

Moderators, please move this discussion to a more general UA forum.In my opionion, the ideal changes would be moving the medical school to Akron and incorporating it with UA and discontinuing YSU's tiny engineering program while giving the current professors and students the option of continuing their careers at either UA or CSU. In a trade off for receiving the medical school, UA would be removed from the consortium in that it would not educate students in the undergraduate part of the program. CSU should then be added to the consortium.

The comish sounds like a real dufous without a real lon-term plan for the MAC. No wonder our men's basketball team couldn't get an at-large bid to the NCAA OR NIT Tournaments. He needs replaced for the overall good of the MAC and we need to continue winning in men's basketball, football, and soccer and have great attendance for all three so that we can have future prospects for the Big East. As it is, the MAC is destined to be a second-tier division I-A conference.

The temporal fluctuations are probably due to time zone differences where most people voting for UA are in the east and those for UCLA are in the west. Most people probably vote when they get into work, so...

I agree with everything you said. I was going to post something similar, but now there is no need. Well done!I'd also like to add that even with our difficult schedule, the only game that was ugly and uncompetitive was the last against UConn. I think as the season goes on, we'll come to see that OSU will be ranked in the top three the rest of the way, IU will have at least an 8-4 record, and UConn will be 10-2 (probable losses at UC and WVU), and Can't will be bowling with at least a 7-5 record (as much as I hate to say it). I was one of the first to say the game against UConn was over before the start of the fourth quarter started, but I'm proud and satisfied with the results so far this season. If we continue to improve, I see no reason we shouldn't be competing for the MAC East and MACC.Cheers and GO ZIPS!

I'd say go for it, nothing else to lose. However, I don't see it happeni9ng b/c we seem to be more concerned with losing respectably than winning the game (e.g. Ohio State).

I'm still here and listening too, but I'm being realistic about the outcome.

I say again, it's over!...and it all started with us beating ourselves and that momentum is too much to reverse...simple as that!

Most reports say that we dominated. Unfortunate that we didn't pull out the win, but that happens sometimes. We still own OHio A&M in the overall series over the years...I don't have the exact numbers, but it's something like 20 wins, 6 losses, and 3 ties in favor of UAWhat I don't like is that the article labels Ohio A&M as being #25 ranked and us not at all. This makes it sound like OHio A&M is the superior program when in actuality there are four different men's college soccer polls and we're ranked in 3 out of 4 and yet, that rag of a publication chooses to refer to the one we're not represented in.
