With eleven minutes left in the fourth quarter, the only drive BGSU hasn't scored on is when they hit the crossbar near the end of the second quarter! This is disgraceful...I don't know what else to say and don't think it deserves any further thought.

I couldn't agree more. In fact, the UB commentators actually commented on how badly we've been outscored in the second half this season. They also mentioned that our second quarters haven't been that good either. It's hard to win games based on offensive production in one quarter (the first).Here's to men's basketball and soccer.

Let's not forget that we're lucky to have three wins at this point...the WMU game was as close as it gets to a loss.

...at least the men's soccer team beat UB on Friday night.

And why would they when it's always crap like this. With OSU right down the road and always in the national title hunt, why would anyone outside UA care about its football team?

Why haven't we put CJ7 in yet? We need his running ability because it's too windy for the passing game to work. Not only that, but it would change the dimensions of our otherwise ridiculously predictable offense.

Amen! If we lose this game there isn't much left to play for. We won't have much of a chance at the MAC East or a bowl bid. At least we beat Can't?...as if that's enough of a consolation.If we had half of our former recruits on the field, we'd win games like this.

I strongly argue that tha Sun Belt Conference and Converence USA are worse than the MAC. However, the MAC is the worst it's been in years.

NEOUCOM would then be incorporated into UA at a new downtown medical campus with a formalized academic medical center incorporating Summa, Akron General, and Children's Hospitals. This would give northeastern Ohio three major academic medical centers (Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals of Cleveland, and University Hospitals of Akron) that would compete with each other locally, but would also be nationally and internationally prominent (the other two in Cleveland already are). This would make northeastern Ohio a haven for medical companies and would give the economy a long overdue boost.

I think we've earned a position in ESPN's bottom 10 for this collapse...not the kind of publicity we need.I agree with the comments that we don't have noticeably better talent than other MAC teams as the recruiting rankings might indicate. That's b/c our talent that is recruited never makes it to the field or plays a year and is gone (e.g. Harvey).

I just realized we just lost our homecoming game to a team that hasn't won on the road in ~15 games!...How embarrassing.The only two positive things to pull from this game:1) Jabari has yet again proven that he can't be stopped when we actually try to get him the ball, and2) Iveljic looks solid and is only a freshman.

I'm furious. Once again, we get scorched in the second half because the other team makes adjustments and we come out playing a flat game.A one-dimensional QB, no throws to Arthur, running right into their blitz on 3rd and 2 when we can close out the game...it doesn't take a football mind to figure out how to fix these things, so why can't the coaches seem to do it?

As if it couldn't get any worse, we get an intentional grounding penalty? What a terrible game! The offensive play calling cost us this game!
