We used to go to Acme-Zip every year. It was great. It sucked when they stopped that. I have some great memories from those days.The Akron band has always been ok, but never great. Anyone that feels they were great must be comparing them to the high school bands they are used to hearing. I am not saying they are/were bad, but they aren't as good as many others.I remember going to the game a few years ago against Hampton and there were a few other college bands at the RB.The other bands simply blew the UA band away. Whenever the UA band would play we wanted them to stop so we could hear the other bands better.It was actually Howard (I think the Central St. band was there too), but you're right Buckzip. I felt sorry for the UA band for having to follow THAT amazing display of brass, rhythm, choreography and entertainment.Did they have a band. I remember to Ooh La La girls with the white gloves and the Central St. ladies who did the same. They would sit and cross their legs in unison.

i love willie, and whenever he gets on the mic i get goosebumps. he's got the right voice for it. the thing is all 4th quarter bgsu fans were way louder than us which may or may not have helped their rally. i also loved how willie called out everybody who was already heading out the door even before the game was over.Will is one of the most passionate Zips fans you will ever see. He can inspire fans like no other.I agree that on the field is over the top. Send him into the locker room at halftime. From what I've seen to date, it couldn't hurt.

He did and broke something on it. They were working on his (tiny, carney hands bruces') helmet after he slammed it down. Special teams coach needs to join OC running gassers. Line drive kickoffs??? Other than the opening kickoff and one later in the game, the rest of them were line drives and that really gave BG great field position. O-line coach can run gassers untill he gets Bates to properly snap from shotgun formations. 70% of the snaps from shotgun and 98% of those are high snaps? Any actual stats for these categories???

Firestone moved it's North American headquarters to Nashville where it will stay. The construction is for a new technical center. It's still a good thing!

lol. JD is not one to change his qb and barring injury, Jaq will play the rest of the season. Matt will need to crush him in spring drills to catch any HIGH snaps from center. Bates needs to handle this problem. It's another factor that hurts qb play. Jaq is jumping for most shotgun snaps. Get this fixed!!!

That's right Big Zip. Execution is part of the game but knowing what play to call in different game situations is on the coaching staff and JM specifically. Four straight three and outs in the second half was awful and the plays we ran were plays we used over and over in this game and every game we've played. The play book must consist of 25-30 plays. Of the three interceptions, two of them were from bad reads. One of the tips was thrown into double coverage and the other a db or lb jumped the route and had a nice interception. Jaq is doing a pretty good job if you look at all the drops, tips, and yes, poor reads. He's maturing as a qb and I think he has played better than some on this forum believe.

It's fun to bash them but the additions they made look pretty good. Nice video screen although it could be larger.

Steve French can't see them as it stands now...PLEASE don't shrink them! The reason the numbers are so big on the blue uni's is because they covered the printed on numbers with sown on numbers and to cover them up completely they had to use a bigger font. But I agree French can't see the numbers now so once you put him up in that high press box at the info maybe they shouldn't make them much smaller at all.If French is having trouble seeing numbers now, he's really going to need a spotter at Infocision. When you think about how high up press row is going to be (70 ft.?) and then the field is another 20 ft below ground level...he'll be about twice the distance from the field and just won't have as good a view of what's going on down there. It could be a problem.Monitors??

Who put that lick on edelman when he pitched at the one for the td? Nice turnout by zips fans. Anyone see that weanie run past the zips bench flushing his gums before they called it back on a holding call? What an ass! We didn't outplay them, but it helps take the sting out of the Cincy game.

What took so long? We were happier the longer it took but that was one long review.

I personally don't like the all blue look but the reason to ditch the blue pants is that the team loses in them.

We've used our TE plenty this year. His catch total is low because he drops 50% of whatever hits his hands.Yes he has had multiple drops, but to say we use the te plenty is wrong from a historic perspective, during JD's tenure, as well as this year . We continue to throw to Bruce with much more mixed resuls. I'll agree to disagree with you on this point.

For some reason UA tries to not use the te, quite successfully I might add, so it would not be in his best interest to consider us.
