    Announcers won't say the conditions, but I wouldn't want to be out in it! The Zips are not playing well tonight. Ten minutes left in the half, and except for a blast high by Gainford, no real attack. Need energy.

    It's an issue for me every time I watch the network. All their live broadcasts are messed up.

    Going off the recent discussion here to bitch about a completely different subject for a moment. I am glad we have played our last game of the year broadcast by CBS Sports Net. They usually do a good enough job in announcing and camera work, but -- and this is a huge but -- they have such constant "technical difficulties" or satellite problems that it makes the game hard to watch! It was less bad in the second half, but it seemed like just about every play the first half had a delay or jumping around in the picture. Our second touchdown wasn't visible until they showed the replay. I don't know why this network has such problems, but they are the only one that experiences this degree of satellite difficulties. You don't see this on ESPN, Fox or any other cable network. Fox Sports just broadcast the Soccer U-17 World Cup from India and never had this poor a signal! I don't think this is unique to my location, either. Can others confirm that CBSSN is hard to watch?

    Thanks for your research habit, ZipME87 (again)! This gives some interesting history of the evolution of MAC men's soccer and the teams that have dropped out over time. For example, Central Michigan quit in '95; Miami in '99; EMU after that '99 season. Did you know that Bob Bradley once coached at Ohio U? He coached their club team while studying for his Masters in Athletic Admin. in the late 70s.

    Only witnessed half our goals tonight, but what I HAVE seen looks like possibly our most complete game of the year -- maybe except MSU. We're learning to play on the road! Hurray!

    They honestly don't impress me much at all. Are they a better team than Bowling Green? Well, they are more disciplined, but may not be more talented.

    Yep. Had to reload about 5 times. Missed first 21 minutes. Give the broadcast team a B. Did their homework on players, like Egbo, but that's the second time I've heard Eritrea pronounced with the accent on the second syllable. Er-I-TREa!!

    Excellent point, ZipME87! He is a Sounders Academy product, so I suppose it's up to Brian Schmetzer & Co. I think the HGP rule is just a device MLS teams have to underpay players, by removing intra-league competition and draft options. Players have Garber to thank!
