Using scout or rivals would be going backwards. Anyone with a brain knows how to use google. If you google Akron Zips, zipsnation is usually top 3. I think it looks worse when schools don't have an independent site and are forced to use rivals or scout.

I can not find a single Zip playing in the USL-Pro or NASL, anyone else? Devon McKenney isn't showing up on this year's roster for Carolina.

Last year, the blue section and the chair back season tickets sold out before the season started so don't procrastinate.

Instead of expanding, they turned the entire west goal side into reserved seating. $100 for 8 home games ($12.5 a game) isn't bad, but you might as well pay $10 more ($1.25 per game) for the side bleachers. It's too bad they couldn't expand this year.

Is this suppose to be a bad thing? He forgot to mention a couple Zips still playing in the NFL: Reggie Corner and Charlie Frye. I don't believe the last few games the Zips played should affect anyone's judgement towards this year. The team quit on Ianello.

it looks like we play in 3 tournaments this year. 8 home games for $75 is still a great deal. Time to start planning tailgating themes and Tifos

last year we held a small tournament which gave us 2 extra home games. It looks like we're going to 2 this year.

I'm sold on this year's Zips team going undefeated. Champs in 2012. Bowling Green is getting better but they need to be more consistent. Same with Buffalo. I'll do a better job keeping track of the MAC vs Big 10 games this year. I believe we're the better conference in 2012.

The MAC had an even record against the Big Ten last year and 2 teams that made the NCAA tournament. For 2012: The Northern Illinois Huskies are a lot better and a top 25 team. The Akron Zips are a lot better and the #1 team. West Virginia is a new addition and a top 20 team. Could the MAC send 3 to the tournament in 2012? I believe the MAC is one of the top 5 conferences in college soccer.
