The rowdies will be busy on Nov 3, Akron football plays at Can't State 2pm, and then Akron soccer plays home against Western Michigan 7pm.

Oct 20th will be a busy day as both the football and soccer teams have home games. Akron soccer plays West Virginia later in the day which should be a 5,000 plus attended game. We tailgate in lot 9 as well so stick around for more tailgating after the football game. I'll be bringing trinidad scorpion peppers and lots of good beer.

We should compile a list of former and current Akron players that came from Europe.

Very sad to hear this, Mike was the only source for Akron sports news for a very long time.

I see Houston as a step down for Chris Pfau. Houston plays on a football field and averaged less than 200 per game last year. He turned the program around but I don't think he'd ever be the guy to take them deep into the NCAA tournament. It was time to move on for Akron as well. I'm excited to see who's hired to replace him.

It's the opposite of what you think. The Galaxy landed a deal with Time Warner Cable for all of their local home games. A 10 year deal worth $55 million. Fox Sports Ohio upgraded their Crew coverage by adding the Cleveland market this year. Sucks for those with Matchday Live because home games are now blocked out in the Akron area.
