  1. Really? You are happy with this washed up blowhard? I'm not.
  2. ??? great first use
  3. Probably because he doesn't look like a D1 scholarship player. Too short and pudgy and too damn slow. He gets blown off the ball in the first running play. He isn't Cody Grice. Cody was nasty.
  4. Nevermind... it is being reported now. Toledo it is.
  5. I was just told by a source that I believe that he is going to Toledo.
  6. My biggest observation from the game is that when Big Dog is not on the floor we are a very average at best basketball team. Dambrot had to risk putting him back into the game midway through the 1st half with 2 fouls because Poke and Hughes are not viable options. We are in big trouble next year if we have to rely on those 2 inside. Ivey is looking great. He looks so much more comfortable on the floor than he did last year. I love the way he moves without the ball cutting to the basket. The guy also has some seriously quick springs. We still can't stop dribble penetration on D. Broken record on that one.
  7. I am the furthest thing from joe Akron that there is. Get a clue.
  8. And for the record, I do like the kids video. He can sling it.
  9. I get enjoyment and misery out of being a zips fan. Definitely the highest and lowest points of all my sports fandom. I am, however, sick of the misery, so my viewpoints are holding this program to a higher standard. That is the only way we will consistently be better. We have been so bad that any incling of success creates a feeling of complacency. I say a lot of things just to play devils advocate and sometimes I say them because they are exactly what I think. All I did was answer the mans question honestly. And if you think my answer wasn't exactly why he was scratching his head then you don't know keener like I do. I do agree it is important that recruits feel that way. All I did was answer a question.
  10. Because we beat out the University of Incarnate Word for one thing. He says we have a supportive fan base for 2. For 3 he likes Milwee. The fourth thing is coach Bowden is legendary. Maybe he is mistaking him for his father. Fifth is the program going in the right direction. 5-7, 5-7, 8-5 and then 5-7 is pretty crappy in my opinion. However, I could be wrong in what he meant by the head scratch.
  11. ??? right We couldn't stop VMI, who isn't even a top half 1-AA team.
  12. I'm 6'4. I was 6'2 in 8th grade. We had a kid that dunked in the 7th grade. You guys get excited over the dumbest stuff.
  13. We weren't a top 15 1-AA team. Be honest here.
  14. Nice...too bad it means nothing for how good of a football player he will be. Most D-1 football players can dunk a basketball. crap... I could in 8th grade.
  15. Illinois offered him on January 8th, so yes they were settling for him. They obviously didn't get their targets, so they tried to swoop in at the end and steal a guy from a MAC school. Unfortunately for Illinois, they are equivalent of a MAC school.
  16. Instead he is just the dopey dope I said he was
  17. Big dog looks like he had a free buffet in the offseason. He is fat AF
  18. Zips Groundhog Day
  19. And we crap down our leg like we always do. "Good loss though".
  20. As bad a Deji was those first few years, I always saw the potential. Here... Not so much. Like I said.... Good rim defender and garbage offensive player under the rim. That's about all we have here.
  21. It really is amazing to see the difference of opinions when evaluating players. Personally, I think he looks like a very solid shot blocker. He has extremely long arms, is athletic, gets off the floor quickly and has good timing. My other opinion is that he is completely devoid of almost any basketball skills if you remove the shot blocking ability. He is a nice niche player to come in and provide some D, but that is just about it. I don't get the comparison to Deji at all because they play a different position and have completely different skills sets. Yes they were both raw, but overall, Deji was a much smoother athlete. I worry at times that E is going to trip over himself running up the floor.
  22. Over/under that he gets drafted? I say not a chance in hell
