In looking at the above seedings (bound to change), I also like the #3 seed. We'd get an additional easier game. I suppose I'd rather have tourney run of Round 1: Ball State Round 2: Toledo Round 3: Ohio than Round 1: Buffalo Round 2: Ohio Round 3: Toledo That second option is absolutely brutal.

Looks like, as of today, the only first round matchup you'd really want to avoid would be the #4-v-#5. But that'll change before the MAC Tourney.

Those are good points. Did KD ever bring in a transfer? Let alone an impact transfer? I'm drawing a blank if he did, though I could be forgetting someone obvious. He was against bringing in transfers, wasn't he? IIRC he though it unfair to the kids who were here as freshmen and had paid dues to earn PT. Ah, I'm remembering he brought in Nyles Evans - that 2G from Hoover who went to JUCO for 2 years. But as far as I can remember that's about it.

Maybe it's good our two freshman guards can just redshirt this year. The two local guards I had my eye on last year who I hoped might become Zips were Canton McKinley's Kobe Johnson and Medina's Corey Tripp But if you click the above links (Kobe @ WVU and Trip @ Wofford) neither of them are much of contributors this year.
