This has been disappointing to me, but understandable. I was actually excited when WVU gave it to us in the scrimmage & prayed our guys would see what commitment to pressure defense looks like. And for a while we did emulated the style and pressure & I was geeked! I LOVE that! But losing Walton, Wynn, & gaining zero positive minutes from Clarke has necessitated drastically shortening the bench, so I definitely give credit to Groce & Co. for shifting on the fly.

I love what Oregon does with their uni's. Previously I mentioned that variety is the spice of life & I miss our beautiful uniform combinations we had over the last handful of years. I love the gold helmets, but what happened to the blue helmets & the white helmets? I loved the full navy blue look - helmet, jersey, pants, and I also loved the full white look - helmet, jersey, pants. Blue helmet & jersey w/ gold pants also looks great. Why'd we get rid of the combinations? Are we using Nike helmets now? Maybe we are required to use Nike helmets & we only have gold? Idk. But I sincerely thought we had the best looking uniform combinations in all of football the last few years.

This does have a lot to do with it. Often a kid will be given an extra star if they sign with an OSU or Alabama, etc. And yeah, the kid probably didn't go to any of the summer camps where they evaluate kids. But why he wouldn't go, Idk? He doesn't have any other D1 offers, so the staff must think they've found a diamond in the rough. But Toledo has offered him a PWO, so Toledo is aware of him but didn't think he was worth a scholarship. Do coaches ever give out scholarships to a marginal player as a way to ingratiate themselves to a particular coach? Idk. I'm just typing off the top of my head this a.m. Anyway, MoJoe & Co. must think he's worth it & I'm gonna trust them. They must think he's better than Barberton's Cameron Macon, and I thought that kid was an absolute stud... but he hasn't been offered by anyone either (top end speed is likely the issue).

I actually do. Lol. I love the shade of blue & the shade of gold we presently use. There are so many slight variations but we've really hit the nail on the head here, as far as I'm concerned. I also like all of our marks & variety is the spice of life. Except the A-Roo head. I've never liked that thing. 😂

I wasn't being a smart ass. The question was sincere; not rhetorical. What don't you like about him? Give some analysis. I think his tape looks really good and he is one of the 2 QB's selected to represent the South in the Ohio D-1-3 North-South All-Star Game. He is however, on the smaller side, so I could see durability being an issue.
