IIRC, I believe in years past we’ve started a new thread for Signing Day.

We said the same about Tribble guarding Insincere Carry & were left disappointed in the coaches’ seeming lack of defensive game plan and/or in-game adjustments. Still a little salty at Groce & Co. over that.

We absolutely cannot afford one of our patent slow starts. If we don't come out hitting on all cylinders Toledo's gonna run away with this thing early. I remember seeing Lee surprisingly reveal our new colors/helmet on a preseason coach's show with Joe Dunn. I was so pissed!!! Lol I remember Lee saying something along the lines of they wanted to brighten the uniforms up and that they looked a lot the Green Bay Packers uniforms. 🤢🤮😭😭 Nothing against the Packers, but the traditional old gold & navy blue is beautiful and as classy as classy can be. The yellow was so ugly.

I haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully they do. To me it's like being a kid on Christmas morning.

Great post. I'll give one rebuttal. I think D.J. Irons could be a great QB in a read option system. Arth only used DJ to run QB draw plays, but I think most of DJ's yardage on the ground came from running for his life when passing plays broke down. Who knows, but I think he could really keep the D on it's toes in a read option system. You mentioned OL transfer Bane. I had forgotten about him. Yeah, so I guess I'd like to see one more OL transfer. Tough assignment to contribute in the trenches as a true freshman.
