We always called it Akron U growing up. It was an informal term of endearment, actually. I’ve gotten away from calling it that just because I know a lot of ppl don’t like it. But whenever talking about the school I always say “Akron,” and never the full (formal) The University of Akron. In fact, when we’d play touch football in someone’s back yard, instead of counting “One Mississippi, two Mississippi…” we’d count, “One Akron U, two Akron U…etc.”

Weird knowing we don't have a game until Friday.

@bigjim ^^this is why keeping track of walk-ons can be difficult. I wouldn't be surprised if Niko Paxos is a walk-on, but I don't really know.

I guess they've got an iPad & the coaches can somehow review the fouls on the bench. Must have the CBS Sports feed? Idk. But he though the first 2 fouls on Freeman were ticky-tack & he was upset it cut into his PT.

And Groce seems to rely on stars on the offensive end. Loosely-goosey, long leashes & let ‘em rip. But we don’t have that player… or two… or three.

We rarely have assists and little off-the-ball movement. Our offense looks like playground ball.

No more Clarke. He’s not D-1. Before his bad turnover his simple 8-foot pass to Ali was beneath Ali’s knees. Just not acceptable.
