  1. Good idea, Big Jim. I'll look into it and update that information. EDIT: No guarantees on the accuracy of # of years of eligibility concerning the transfers, e.g., as far as I can tell transfer DL Curtis Harper should be out of eligibility, but obviously not.
  2. Merry Christmas!
  3. Offered a 6'6" 310 OL transferring from Georgetown. Also has offers from Arkansas State, FIU, Georgia Southern, Troy, Utah State, UMass, WMU, CMU, BUGS, Toledo, Buffalo, Ohio, & KSUcks.
  4. Good catch! After doing a little sleuthing, I hear he says he's "still committed." So apparently his scholarship offer has not been pulled & he'll still be a Zip!
  5. That was a bit confusing. I think he misspoke & meant to say DC, as they were moving into talking about the D.
  6. +1. That's a great story and I wish him the best. But it was his teammate, Mason Mennell that I was crossing my fingers for. Mason signed with... KSUcks 🙃 So glad Arth is out of here. @zippy-claws, just an FYI, make sure you check the initial post in this thread (at the top of Page 1), as I try to keep it current with each new verbal commit (including where they went to high school or what college they're transferring from).
  7. Idk, but if we had more of a crowd and were winning (& thus everyone in a better mood) what he's trying to do may not seem cringe at all. But as it is I feel for him, the last few years he's been charged with swimming up stream at the Info. Like leading a pep rally at a funeral.
  8. Yeah. I'm not expecting any to come.
  9. Just killing some time here this a.m.... In another thread it was speculated that with Bo Nix transferring to Oregon, it could increase the likelihood that a current Oregon QB may decide to transfer to UA w/ JoeMo. According to ourlads dot com the current Oregon QB depth chart is: 1. Anthony Brown (Sr.) 2. Ty Thompson (Fr.) 3. Jay Butterfield (Fr.) 4. Robby Ashford (Fr.) Other QB's currently on Oregon's roster include A.J. Abbott and Bradley Yaffe These guys are likely playing at their dream school, but I guess the tough question is whether you actually want to get PT, or not? Once your football days are over, they're over. It's not like former baseball players playing beer-league softball or former basketball players playing pickup ball at the Y for the rest of your life. Additionally, I feel DJ Irons could be an excellent RPO QB in JoeMo's system. But anytime you might be able to add a QB who was offered by Oregon... Plus, with the graduation of Kato & the transfer of Gibson, we have no idea what any of our other current roster QB's really bring to the table.
  10. ^^Perusing twitter (FWIW) some WVU fans thought he was a "distraction," and are not upset with his departure. If there's any truth to that, hopefully he matures. Anyway, we needed help at DB.
  11. Love to see it 💯💯😆
  12. I want to be the old Boise State of the MAC and roll everybody 💪💪
  13. I’ve been telling myself that since we hired Lee Owens 😑
  14. I don’t blame Mumpfield, Gibson & Mathison for transferring this year. They were recruited by Arth & were very close to Arth & frankly, may secretly hope Moorhead crashes & burns. Idk. We are losing 3 good ones in those guys, no doubt, but let’s wait & see if we lose any/many top players once Moorhead brings his own players in. I still think we’ll end up getting more good players filtering “down” to us than we’ll lose. But we’ll see.
  15. All except for KSUcks.
  16. To clarify what I meant, I got goosebumps because II still think Akron is a sleeping giant. 😅
  17. Definitely! Im at EJ Thomas for The Akron Nutcracker. (It’s intermission.) They worked Zippy into the show. Zippy killed the Mouse King! Lol. It got a HUGE applause from this sold out crowd so it gave me goosebumps! 😂😂
  18. This is true. Following the coaches on twitter it was eye-opening how every time a coach tweeted something, they'd get 5-10 replies from players saying, "Hey coach, check out my film," with their hudl link, etc. It was kind of sad. It made me glad I'm not a coach, it'd break my heart if I had to tell 3,000 kids, "Thank you, but no thank you." (Which they didn't, they just didn't respond.) And @John Wardthat's also partly the player's high school coache's job. If the coach truly thinks the kid can play he should contact the college coach. But the coach can't be blowing smoke at the college coach or they'll lose credibility for future player recommendations.
  19. That's King Xerxes revisionist history.
