  1. ? You're almost certainly correct. Otherwise (by my count) of our 24 scholarship recruits, 7 are WR's. I'm sure the Akron Beacon Journal will clarify the issue and give us interesting human interest articles on all our new signees.?
  2. Initial post updated as best as I could.
  3. Dakari Bradford, WR, 6-5, 185, Lincoln Park HS, Western Beaver, PA. Pretty sure this guys a PWO. Just because he also had a PWO offer from Pitt. Speaking of PWO's, I can't tell which of these Late Signing Day guys are scholarship players and which are PWO's.
  4. ABJ: Nuga likely lost for remainder of season due to knee injury I hate to see anyone get injured. I like beating KSUcks when they are at full strength. Don't want to give them any excuses.
  5. You're right. Bad post. I meant no surprise transfers. This was just the first day of the signing period. So there's still hope. But relatively unexciting day. Now it seems the early signing day is where 90% of the action is.
  6. No transfers or DL ? Yet ?
  7. Joe Malchesky, DB, Mentor Lake Catholic HS, Mentor, OH
  8. Asian Burt, WR, 6-2, 195, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Louisville, OH
  9. Brady Toth, WR, S, 6-5, 190, Chardonnay HS, Chardonnay, OH. (PWO)
  10. Garrett Ramsey, WR, 6-4, 190, Newark HS, Newark, OH. Don’t know if a holly or PWO. Tyler Rieger, LS, 6-0, 205, Upper St. Claire HS, Pittsburgh, PA (scholly? PWO?)
  11. Hey fellas. I’m pretty busy this morning and won’t likely be able to post much to this thread or update the initial post till later this afternoon. Just a little FYI. Go Zips!
  12. The only part I could decipher from his tweet was “#OurWay.” ?
  13. I haven't read much at all. Here is a tweet from St. Thomas Aquinas (OH) WR (6-2, 180) Asian Burt's father: Don't know if Asian's been offered a scholarship or a PWO opportunity. Asian Burt highlights
  14. LCJ's got some competition for MAC POY
  15. I love KD & in my mind he is responsible for making Akron basketball what it is today. He was responsible for bringing in Romeo, Dru, & Wood which really got the ball rolling. So even if he never makes a run @ Duquesne he’s always a Zip & ultimately can cry all the way to the bank. Lol.
  16. Ouch ? But... Yeah. ?
  17. I really like what I've seen in Tre Edwards in the 25 seconds he's been on the court. Lol. I also like his build. I'd really like to see him get a little more PT than he is presently.
  18. Btw, did Maishe score today?
  19. Clarke looks like he can penetrate & get to the basket almost any time he wants.
  20. Wynn looked very comfortable out there. ? As did Dawson. ? Tribble took a few 3's, even hitting one! ??
  21. So far we know about two Michigan State transfers; OLB Jeslord Boateng, and RB Ant Williams. Do we know of any others?
  22. Thanks. And good idea. I'll start a thread and, per usual, keep the initial post updated as best as I can. Edit: now that I think about it, I'll just keep this thread updated with our late signees, because they're all going to be counted toward our 2021 class.
  23. Hey now. Lol Of course Idk, but I am excited to see our JUCO All-American QB DJ Irons. I’m not asking for the moon. I just want a QB who can make reads to 2 different receivers and, if nothing is there, run for 4-5 yards.
  24. I don’t see Currie on the sideline.
  25. 2 of which should go to current walk-ons, correct? Brandon Bischoff & one other, IIRC. If it's accurate that Tony Grimes, Jr. was a walk-on I have to think he's gonna be put on scholarship. But I haven't seen anyone tweet saying they've verballed to Akron. St. Thomas Aquinas (OH) WR Asian Burt's father has been tweeting some ambiguous tweets and it sounds like Asian's going to at least be offered a PWO opportunity with UA.
