  1. I really like Watts. But other than Watts we may have an entirely new defensive backfield next season.
  2. Looks like Kato just suffered a stinger. We may see Gibson the rest of the night. And... Gibson gets promptly smashed on a blitz.
  3. Rourke’s putting the ball on the $$ tonight.
  4. With 5 DB verbal commits, I wonder if the staff is contemplating moving Jalen Hooks to WR next season? He was an excellent WR at Warren Harding and I was a little surprised when I saw him listed as a DB once he got to UA.
  5. ABJ: Two prominent Zips get one last chance for win John Lako & Alvin Davis. Weather is supposed to be pretty nice for this time of the year. I'm going to be there. Go Akron!
  6. Tonight is one of the very few times I'll agree with that! Lol
  7. We did just get that commitment from JaQuan ??
  8. We may have just gotten a verbal from 6-3, 265 DE/DT JaQuan Green of Fort Scott CC.
  9. So far (11/25) you can tell by our recruiting priorities where our staff feels we have the greatest need. Like we've all noted, it's on the OL, DL & defensive backfield. We currently have 4 OL verbals, 2 DT verbals and 4 DB verbals. We're still waiting on a RB (or two).
  10. Man, that was a fun game to watch. We had Louisville on the ropes. We just ran out of time.
  11. Got a verbal from 6-2, 200 DB Eric Scott of Butler C.C. ??
  12. We also get a verbal from defensive corner Woobendy Guerrier ??
  13. On my phone... but we got a big verbal from 6-3, 300-pound JUCO DT Nasir Sy. Sy was a 3-star recruit in hs who was offered by Wisconsin.
  14. If you have Hulu the game is on the ACC Network.
  15. Link to press conference I still like Arth and think he'll do well. I still vividly remember iCoach. Though we may not win a game this season, Arth is no iCoach and this team is playing harder and competing better than the iCoach-led teams. I like Arth's demeanor and obvious intelligence. His staff is composed of some sincerely good people who honestly care about the young men (I still think Marcus Wattley would have been a natural fit on this staff). I could see this staff easily and naturally attracting the sort of athletes/young men required to be be successful at an Ivy League institution, but we'll see whether they have what it takes to succeed at this level.
  16. ABJ's Bod Dyer rips UA Football a new one. But nothing he says isn't true.
  17. I dont think Ballard had a single reception last night? ?
  18. The U made me proud tonight! Well done. Perfect venue & perfectly run event.
  19. ABJ: Zips jump out early, defeat Youngstown State 82-60
