Yeah, Kato was in street clothes today.

Meanwhile... WMU is in a dogfight with EMU. Tied 17-17 with 3-minutes to go in the 4th. Edit: In what appears to be a developing pattern, WMU's kicker misses another field goal. Going into overtime.

If we give up a TD here I may just turn to NetFlix & watch a movie. :/

Man, Swanson's a great RB.

Booker caught that with a lot of confidence. He plays with a lot of moxie for a true frosh.

Pretty sure it was #15. Throw was awfully high, though.

Agreed. I'm still surprised sophomore Denzel Butler is our nickle corner. He's a transfer from WV Weslyan. Does that show how weak our 1st 4 recruiting classes were?

Akron Local Recruiting Targets
Blue & Gold replied to wadszip's topic in Akron Zips Football Recruiting
I was at that game last night. Good game. Buchtel really did a good job selling out to stop the run & force East to beat them by passing the ball. A Buchtel junior who really stood out to me was WR Zayir Keen. Zayir is 6'2", fast & has great hands. He's pretty thin though, at only 170. -
After that first season maybe Amato had a heart-to-heart w/ Terry & told him the hyper-hurry-up-throw-it-all-over-the-field offense (which I loved & which was a lot of fun to watch) didn't give his defense enough time to rest? Maybe to go back to that style offense would require more defensive depth?

Exactly what I've been wondering for 4 years.

I'm watching the WMU replay & am noticing Brian Bell really turning into a stud.
